About the adventure
A death curse has been traced to the island of Chult. A heavy jungle area where the undead tend to rule. Zombies and other undead creatures wonder around the island. Those who were brought back to life are slowly being turned into an undead creature. Loved one's souls are disappearing, and everyone's magic is being affected by this curse. Some believe it is nothing more than a story, but as time passes, more and more people are being turned. The party has their own reasons for going to Chult, and from there, they accidentally stumble into a mess of undead creatures, trickster gods, and a power hungry monster that is consuming the souls of the undead.

About me
Hello! I'm Dizzly, or Harley! I started as a DM with a small group of friends where I basically jumped into the deep end before then becoming a player in another friend's campaign which helped me learn a lot faster in how to DM. I've always been a writer and enjoy world building and expanding on world lore. Combining these with creating and guiding a story has absolutely been a blast.

Creating your character
Session 0 is where we will roll for character creation and get to know everyone and their characters. Along with character quests. Session 0 will be free.
Leveling up will be based on Milestones. Rules are always open for discussion. I'm willing to hear just about anything out. I have shifted some stealth disadvantages around due to real life experience involving heavy and chainmail armor. There's more information on that in the discord. So be sure to check that out. Due to the way this adventure often plays out, we will be discussing possible character death and how we'd like that to be handled.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
First you'll need to join the discord server that all sessions will be held in a vc. Second, there will be a link to join the campaign on DND beyond that way we have access to their vvt. I may also be using Owlbear Rodeo for this as well. If you miss any information, or need to contact me, you are free to message me here. Or on discord @dizzlypuzzled.
What Harley brings to the table
I will be using ambient music, and will try to do character voices. I'm best at running smooth combat that stays within story telling. I'm great at taking on chaotic decisions and turning them into fun adventures for everyone in the campaign. I'm a huge believer in Rule of Cool. If you can justify something you want to do, I will usually allow it. I'm good at keeping on track and on target to get us staying on the story.
Homebrew rules
-Not all armor is clunky and not all warriors are walking beacons. To better reflect practical armor designs, training, and stealth-based tactics, the following adjustments are made to the standard Stealth Disadvantage mechanics: 1. Medium Armor Stealth Adjustment No Medium Armor imposes disadvantage on Stealth checks. This includes armor such as Half Plate and Scale Mail. Characters trained in stealth can move quietly in practical, well-fitted armor designed for battlefield mobility. 2. Heavy Armor Stealth Adjustment Heavy Armor loses its Stealth Disadvantage if both conditions below are met: The armor is described as practical, non-reflective, and not obviously eye-catching (e.g., no polished steel, glowing sigils, or bright heraldry). The character has a Dexterity score of 16 or higher. Characters meeting these conditions are considered skilled enough to move quietly even in heavier protection, leveraging their natural agility and tactical awareness.

How Harley creates a safe table
I will go over Lines and Veils though pms before sessions. We will go over them during session 0 as well, and go over character specific quests and dos and don'ts for the campaign. I also have X, N, & Os digital setup in the vtt.
