Creating your character

Characters follow the same character creation as normal World of Darkness games. 👤 𝒞𝑅𝐸𝒜𝒯𝐼𝒪𝒩: Basic character creation should be done before signing up, and can be done on paper, PDF, Schreknet, or Foundry. All you need to start is your species (vampire, werewolf, etc) Advantages (Resources, Haven, etc) and Flaws (Destitute, Ugly, etc). 🧛 𝒫𝐿𝒜𝒴𝒜𝐵𝐿𝐸 𝒪𝒫𝒯𝐼𝒪𝒩𝒮: Playable options include mortals, ghouls, hunters, vampires, werewolves, ghosts, changelings, and more. Just ask! Players also have further wiggle room for homebrew traits as desired. This can be anything from unconventional uses for existing traits, or entirely new ones more fitting for erotic themes, all in the WoD5 system style. Stories are one-on-one solo by default. If desired, bring a friend and split the cost 50/50. 🔺 𝒞𝐻𝒜𝑅𝒜𝒞𝒯𝐸𝑅 𝒫𝑅𝒪𝒢𝑅𝐸𝒮𝒮𝐼𝒪𝒩: This listing uses rules-as-written character creation and progression. Updates are done in milestone format, awarded at the end of each story arc, so you don't have to worry about it until we start a new story. XP is talled as "Session# x 2". 🧱 𝒞𝐻𝑅𝒪𝒩𝐼𝒞𝐿𝐸 𝒮𝐸𝒯𝒰𝒫: After signup, Chronicle setup follows the following steps; • 1. Interest Comparison: Common interests are compared first to help decide on characters, story, and safety • 2. Character Choices: PCs/SPCs and basic traits are decided, with further detail to be worked on later • 3. Setting Post: The ST will post a starter prompt introducing the world, setting, and story. • 4. Player Post: Once a reply is posted, the Listing will begin, and further character creation can take place.

Preparing for the session

For this adventure, you'll need to be prepared in the following ways. 📋 𝒲𝐻𝒜𝒯 𝒴𝒪𝒰'𝐿𝐿 𝒩𝐸𝐸𝒟 : To sign up for this adventure, you'll need; • Discord: Used for the story, references, out-of-character calibration, etc • Character: Bring or create a character, see Character Creation below • List: Premake a list of your interests and limits to make setup quick and simple 🔇 𝒲𝐻𝒜𝒯 𝒴𝒪𝒰 𝒲𝒪𝒩'𝒯 : These chronicles are text-only, and as such do not require a stable internet connection, headphones, microphone, or computer like typical chronicles. ✔️ 𝒲𝐻𝒜𝒯 𝒴𝒪𝒰 𝒢𝐸𝒯 : After signup, you'll have access to • Private channels for chat, roleplay, and references • A solo chronicle story, fully customizable with your interests in mind • One fully detailed multi-para post per weekday, with follow-up posts as needed • Community access if desired • Full access to the RAGE Games Foundry and all WoD 5th Edition content within • Character help throughout the week 📄 𝐵𝐸𝒢𝐼𝒩𝒩𝐸𝑅 𝐹𝑅𝐼𝐸𝒩𝒟𝐿𝒴 : No reading is required to jump in. The World of Darkness is a modern day "real-world" setting by default, where the supernatural are a secret unknown to most. And even among monsters, while there are several uniform traits amongst them, each varies greatly from one supernatural creature to the next, allowing a wide array of customization to make your monster. Players have the opportunity to play as a regular mortal learning as you do, a newly changed supernatural yourself, or an experienced creature of the night, regardless of OOC skill level.

What Redmane (RAGE Games) brings to the table

RAGE Games provides everything you need for your World of Darkness romance story. We reference WoD 5th Edition content, and all necessary information will be provided. Startplaying is used for organization, Discord is used for text, and Foundry is used for character sheets. 💋 𝒫𝒜𝑅𝒯𝒩𝐸𝑅 𝒞𝐻𝒜𝑅𝒜𝒞𝒯𝐸𝑅𝒮: These chronicles offer a roster of premade custom SPCs and canon lore characters available for romance, and the option to discuss and request others. SPCs can be male, female, or other, and can be mortals, vampires, werewolves, changelings, ghosts, and more. Choose one, try one after another, or attempt to engage with more than one at a time, if you're up to the challenge. Because sure, you can take five werewolves in a fight, right? 🎲 𝒟𝐼𝒞𝐸 𝒪𝒫𝒯𝐼𝒪𝒩𝒜𝐿: Typical chronicles involve a considerable amount of risk, chance, and character growth reflected via the use of dice. In Dark Desires, this is fully optional, and any dice are rolled via bot on Discord to keep everything contained. 📚 𝒞𝒰𝒮𝒯𝒪𝑀 𝒮𝒯𝒪𝑅𝒴: Storylines can take place in the World of Darkness, and may take place in any modern or historical era. Custom prompts are available to review and discuss, and can be calibrated to the desired level of story, horror, mystery, exploration, lore, and spice. By default, each Dark Desires story is considered self-contained from that of RAGE Games or other players, and may not be canon to the greater Red's World of Darkness metaplot, allowing even more freedom of customization. ✍️ 𝑅𝐸𝒢𝒰𝐿𝒜𝑅 𝒫𝒪𝒮𝒯𝒮 : Posts are often multi-para and follow a "5 days on / 2 days off" schedule. If any are missed, an effort is made to compensate. Player posts have no length requirement and can be of whatever length you feel comfortable with. All posts are custom written by myself. I do not and will not use AI for any posts whatsoever. Samples are available upon request. Any and all character graphics are, however, generated using Perchance AI, and such visual aids are purely opt-in. No real-life visuals or voice are used. Scenes and music might be provided for an immersive read.

How Redmane (RAGE Games) creates a safe table

As a professional storyteller, avid writer, and longtime erotica DM, things such as safety, consent, respect, and clear communication come naturally. In this story, Safety protocols involve the following; 🔞 𝒜𝒟𝒰𝐿𝒯 𝒞𝒪𝒩𝒯𝐸𝒩𝒯 : This listing is only available for those eighteen years or older regardless of country or state. The Storyteller is 18+, and all players must be as well. All characters including PCs and SPCs are 18+ physically, mentally, and chronologically regardless of species. 👓 𝒜𝒩𝒪𝒩𝒴𝑀𝒪𝒰𝒮 : This listing promises full anonimity from other players. All information and content is completely private, only visible to me and you. • All communication is done in private channels. Any inter-player communication is done on an entirely different Discord server. • I do not and will not discuss current stories with others or mention anyone by name. • Players desiring an extra layer of anonimity are may create an alternative Discord and Forge account seperate from their main. 📋 𝒞𝐿𝒜𝑅𝐼𝒯𝒴 𝒜𝒩𝒟 𝒞𝒪𝑀𝑀𝒰𝒩𝐼𝒞𝒜𝒯𝐼𝒪𝒩 : Upon signup, players are invited to join a private server for clear communication, and will get access to both an IC and an OOC channel. You'll get access to a full menu of my own interests and limits, and Dark Desires uses a thorough consent, intererests, and lines and veils checklist to cater to yours. A simple Green, Yellow, Red system is used throughout to ensure enjoyment. • Favorites : Desired if at all possible • Yes : Acceptable themes • Maybe : Requires discussion • No : Not desired at any time • Veils : Themes okay to mention or occur in backstory, but not in play • Lines : Themes that would cause you to stop playing, not to be mentioned in any form ✒️𝐵𝐿𝐸𝐸𝒟 𝒜𝒲𝒜𝑅𝐸𝒩𝐸𝒮𝒮 : This refers to IC feelings bleeding through into OOC feelings, or vice versa, like too much ink on a page. These stories take measures to ensure seperation of character and self, and clear boundaries to be respected on both sides. Any and all romance, spice, or conflict as the case may be is to remain purely in-character. Bleed safety measures include; • Third Person : Content is written using she, he, they, it, etc rather than I/You. 🚫 𝑅𝐸𝒮𝒫𝐸𝒞𝒯𝐸𝒟 𝐵𝒪𝒰𝒩𝒟𝒜𝑅𝐼𝐸𝒮 : Comfort goes both ways.
