About the adventure
One day all will blacken and burn. This world will end. Savage creatures lurk in the depths of forgotten crypts, incomprehensible relics lie waiting in the shadows of crumbling tombs, mystics argue incessantly trying to find an escape to the impending doom and the powerful occupy themselves with vengeance through dark rituals, crushing the lives of those beneath them. Despite it all, groups of rogues and raiders find their way through this hellish landscape; risking their lives for silver, glory, or hoping to find a way to escape the inevitable end when the 7:7 Misery strikes. ---------------------------------------------------------- Learn how to p̶l̶a̶y̶ die in Mörk Borg with a series of adventures (each one-shot will be new content). About me
...is this thing on... Hello and welcome to my profile! I've been gaming and GMing since 2003 using D&D 3.5e. Since then I've become much more interested in stranger systems like Mörk Borg, Powered by the Apocalypse, Maze Rats, and anything within the Old School Renaissance. But wait, there's more! I also have an emphasis on role-playing and love to see what sort of character drama or interesting scenes can be had between us. The story is about everyone at the table and what they can use to bring life into it. That means equal say and equal attention. In turn this means I tend to favor a sword and sorcery style of fantasy, focusing more on the individual stories each character has and how those intertwine with each other. Dark, gritty, real stories are so much more impactful. I want to tell stories that players remember later and tell other people about what happened. I'm a trans woman using she/her pronouns and am a very open person. I do not judge and in turn do not tolerate those that do. My space is a safe place, welcome for ALL that are respectful. I respect any and all lines and veils players may bring to my attention. My favorite system is probably Star Worlds, a hack of a hack of a hack of the Powered by the Apocalypse rules which turns Star Wars into a high action drama that doesn't get bogged down in too many rules. The end results are what matter but the narrative can be driven so many ways.

What Malkavian_Grin brings to the table
I'm a Rulings-over-Rules girl, but that doesn't mean inconsistency. Sometimes the Rule of Cool just overrides the scene and memories are made. I often use character voices and quirks for my NPCs such that they are memorable. I will be experimenting with dungeon synth ambient music during sessions. I prefer more roleplay than anything else but rolling dice is fun too. That said, I tire of combat that takes hours to end. What if you could have fought eight times the foes instead? Decisive, deadly combat is what I'm about. Dice rolls that make your knuckles white in anticipation.

How Malkavian_Grin creates a safe table
As this system is very grim, gory and vile, Lines and Veils will be heavily encouraged. X, N, and O will also be encouraged, whether spoken out loud or sent over chat; the game will pause and I'll do a private check-in. After intense scenes I'll usually do a group check-in to make sure people are good or see if we need a little break for a breather. At the end of a session I like to check-in and see what players liked, didn't like, what they'd like to see in the game, and any suggestions for improvements.
