About the adventure
Fifteen years ago, Drakkenheim was destroyed by an eldritch storm of falling stars. Now, the city is a dismal urban wasteland contaminated by otherworldly magic and haunted by hideous monsters. Fantastic wealth, lost knowledge, and powerful artifacts lie ready for the taking by adventurers brave or foolish enough to venture into the ruins! --------------------- This campaign blends dark fantasy, urban exploration, and faction intrigue in a living sandbox. The party will venture into the contaminated city, uncover lost relics, navigate rival factions, and face the horrors born from the meteor’s corruption. Each character will have a reason why they are exploring this contaminated city. Did you receive a vision of Drakkenheim's destruction and need to understand what it means? Did you want to research and understand the mysterious new substance known as Delerium and the contamination it emits, either to cure it or wield it? Did you leave something in Drakkenheim, be it a precious heirloom or a family member, and will do anything to get it back? Or are you are here to make a claim to the empty throne? Your choices matter, as alliances with the various factions shape the balance of power, and every expedition deeper into the ruins reveals more about the mystery at the heart of Drakkenheim. The game welcomes players of all experience levels, from complete beginners to veteran adventurers. If you’re new to D&D, guidance will be provided every step of the way. If you’re experienced, you’ll find plenty of room for deep roleplay, strategic decision-making, and meaningful character arcs. The table is inclusive and welcoming to everyone. Due to the dark nature of this campaign, please be respectful of everyone's comfort levels. Expect a story filled with exploration, difficult choices, and the chance to shape the very future of Drakkenheim.

About me
As what I'm sure is quite the familiar story by now, I first starting playing D&D5e during the Covid-19 pandemic. At first, it was something that a few of my friends and I did to stay connected and pass the time, but it soon blossomed into a full-grown passion for me. Not long after that game ended, I found StartPlaying, and found an easy way to find games to play in and people to play with. Having played as a player for most of my time, I want to grow as a DM, so hopefully I can help other people looking to play find their outlet.
