About the adventure

Little Robots is a fun, heartwarming journey that follows a small team of tiny robots who figure out that no one is coming to save them. Little Robots takes place entirely within a Robotics Factory that is filled with security, both physical and digital. The Team of Little Robots will use their individual proficiencies and tools to hack, break, avoid, climb, and otherwise overcome the hurdles in their way. The Little Robots are not full of knowledge, so they will need to discover exactly how to escape. Once they finally unlock the last gate to their freedom, they escape into the outside world where they can find their creators or even build a life of their own! About me

I am a longtime TTRPG GM that loves Pathfinder & GURPS, with a large library of books, art assets, and time to share with my players, it is my favorite thing to do. I am a huge fan of roleplay and often modify mechanics to benefit storytelling & session fluidity. I use Foundry VTT, which is free to my players, and includes vast customization options for every campaign & every participant. Please take a look at this Google Sheet for all of my GURPS games: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1OIi-Yp_5L2k4LvJ_L-YxgZ_YF7QIsZr4h0PIoit8fKM/edit?usp=sharing

Character creation

Creating your character

Characters will be made in GURPS Character Sheet (GCS) a free program with a large database of character-building assets. The PCs' Robots are made with 100 Character Points, -40 Disadvantage Limit. These will apply after a base Robot template is used. Each player will get a chance to consult with the other players in the Discord server, but ultimately will end up making their Character with the GM, before their debut on Session 1.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Have a Discord & Forge Account, as Discord is used for all communication and The Forge is used to host the Foundry VTT game. Both accounts are free to make and maintain. Players should also read GURPS 4th Edition Basic Set, Chapters 1 - 4 to learn how to make an average character. Additional reading ideas will be provided during the character-making process as well as during the Session 0.

What John brings to the table

Foundry VTT, which is free to players, a library of GURPS 4e books that will be available to players, and custom art assets & maps, some powered by AI. Ambient music will be used to set the tone and mood of a location or scene. The game will heavily involve puzzles, with a little Combat, and as much roleplay as the players would like to give. However, if players wish to be a little meta, the low-stakes and fun atmosphere will permit it.

How John creates a safe table

The GM and players will have a Session 0 where they discuss content they don't want to see, and how to go forward so everyone is happy. Players can also discuss breaks, as needed, for longer sessions.
