About the adventure

Long ago, in a galaxy far, far away, scoundrels struggle to survive on the outer edges, far from the reach of imperial jurisdiction. Some are in labour camps, others scavenge what they can from scraps while the brave (or stupid) smuggle spice or arms for a quick credit. A small group of individuals band together to do more than just get by; they want to make a difference for not just themselves, but for all the disadvantaged. This is your story and may the force be with you!

Character creation

Creating your character

Your character gets a certain amount of starting experience according to your species. We will cover this during character creation on session 0.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Join our discord! https://discord.gg/zd6u2DNw3S Make sure you have a webcam so we can be more connected with each other! I use physical battlemaps and a remote controlled camera to display the battlefield!

What Dan the DM Micallef brings to the table

I utilize a full studio setup that will bring to life a real battlemap with miniatures and terrain (I have over 20,000 I have been collecting and hand painting)! I also utilize state of the art cameras that gimble and move around capturing every angle of the glorious battle! I will be able to help you build your character in session zero and will use AI art to help conceptualize your character as well. I also make custom backgrounds for all my scenes and animate them using Davinci Resolve to immerse you even further. Additionally I am a master of voices and storytelling for the most exciting and memorable adventure you'll ever play!

Homebrew rules

I run the rule of cool allowing you to pose ideas and improvise upon them. The dice of Star Wars by Fantasy Flight games are fairly unique and can lead to some rather unexpected outcomes so be prepared for success with complications or failures with hope!

Safety

How Dan the DM Micallef creates a safe table

Session 0 will be a good opportunity for me to get to know my players and see what they like and dislike in a game. We will take a break halfway through for 15 minutes but if someone wants to talk to me privately, they can ask to have a secret discussion with me and I will bring them to a private channel in discord to talk about it. Additionally, if they feel uncomfortable after the session, they can always discuss this with me in a game. D&D tackles a lot of tough subjects and you can never really know what is going to upset anyone until after it has been done. The best we can do is learn together and improve from it.
