About the adventure
Curse of Strahd, the ever so popular and soon to be refreshed :) This game will take you through the lands of Barovia, a place full of dread, hard people and it's ever-watching, gracious and equally deadly host, Count Strahd von Zarovich. The setting is going to have different types of horror themes that will be brought up for discussion during session 0, as well as setting up the tone of the adventure in more detail. If you wish to partake in this all to popular adventure and you never had the chance, hop in and let yourself and others be guided through the mists by a GM who really loves the module, and is totally not biased due to hailing from Transylvania at all :P

Hello, I'm Ovi and I've been playing since 2019 ,starting as a DM almost immediately and never stopped. I really love to run D&D games, mostly the official campaigns but with the occasional flavours and twists. Creating your character
Characters will be created with the GM, it is however the players choice between point buy / standard array or rolled stats (roll 4 drop lowest)
As a GM I wish to encourage the players to play their desired characters. Play what you feel like exploring, what speaks to you as a character. ( From the officially released options ) As long as you are willing to be a respectable team player you are most welcome and I feel it is my duty to present the group with amazing moments.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
To play you need access to: - Roll20 website for the game and character creation (free account required) - Discord for voice chat. Video is optional - D&D Beyond account for character creation (optional) links and guidance will be provided.
What Ovi brings to the table
Mostly trying to find a good balance of story, combat and exploration. I do use ambient music almost all the time. In combat usually I love to add descriptions / flavours, in an attempt to keep it engaging and fun. Rules as written are there to be a guide and most of the time I find myself to lean towards Rule of Cool but keeping it fair as well.

How Ovi creates a safe table
- my most important safety tool is communication, with session 0 being the groundwork for that, the base where we meet and start building up trust and understanding. - Debriefing and aftercare are important as well, especially if there have been unforeseen moments or unexpected developments during the session. - Safety tool cards are also available to use in case they are required by players, or even the GM, as we are all in this together :)
