About Ovi

Hello, I'm Ovi and I've been playing since 2019 ,starting as a DM almost immediately and never stopped. I really love to run D&D games, mostly the official campaigns but with the occasional flavours and twists. In the case you will join my games I only hope I can create a great experience for you as a player and together we can write our own stories in the Forgotten Realms.

I got started GMing...

Early 2019, as during the pandemic I figured the best way for me to play D&D was to run my own games. I fell in love with being a GM almost immediately, and never stopped since.

My favorite shows/movies are

hmm... hard to pick a favourite show, as per movies, there is only one answer for me: The Lord of The Rings ;) There could be others, but it always depends on which part of my life I watch or revisit a movie / show

My favorite system of all Time is

D&D 5e and currently transitioning to the new set of rules, little by little.

How Ovi runs games

I aim to have a balanced playing experience, with an equal amount of role-play and combat. This also depends on the group's vibe and desires.

My games focus on...

My games focus on having a good balance during the adventure between exploration, role-play, combat etc. In doing so every type of player at the table will eventually take the spotlight or have a taste of their favourite style.

Rules are...

Rules are guidelines, we have them to help us understand the game system and ease our play. I do like to sometimes opt in some other table rules, not without mentioning them or discussing them with the party. Usually I am player focused and will possibly bend the RAW for ROC :)

When it comes to voices

I try my best :) not a profesional voice actor but not afraid to make a fool of my self for a NPC ;)

Ovi's ideal table

When i think about my tables, I imagine players who wish to be part of a story they tailor, with me having fun alongside them. I do not mind who joins as long as people are respectful of each other, the GM and the adventure as well. My players should strive to work together and at the end, to be able to look back with a wide smile on their faces as they recount tales of danger, amazement and shenanigans experienced together.
