About the adventure
Once every eight years, the fantastic Witchlight Carnival touches down on your world, bringing joy to one settlement after the next. Its owners, Mister Witch and Mister Light, know how to put on a good show. But there’s more to this magical extravaganza than meets the eye! The carnival is a gateway to a fantastic Feywild domain unlike anything found on the Material Plane. Time has not been kind to this realm, however, and dark days lie ahead unless someone can thwart the dastardly schemes of the Hourglass Coven. The Wild Beyond the Witchlight takes adventurers from the Witchlight Carnival to Prismeer, a Feywild domain of delight, and is designed for characters of levels 1–8. This is a great game for players of any level and is meant to be fun and wild (get it... feywild? lol)

About me
Hi, I''m, the Vintage DM! I'm a huge nerd who loves all things DND or fantasy related. I have been playing DND for close to a decade now, and have been DMing for about 5 years. I love testing the limits of games and will always be here for the rule of cool. As a dm, I love to focus on the players and their characters backstories, letting them fall in love with their characters. My style is a healthy mix of combat and roleplay, depending on the game.

Creating your character
How we do character creation is through a group session 0, it is great to have character ideas going into this session. We will go over rules, the campaign, and everything else. After that, I will pull you into an individual call and we will work on your character. This way they can be integrated into the story and not just looking in from the outside.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Before session starts, you will need to make an account on Discord and Owlbear Rodeo. It also helps to have a way to make character sheets (I have links for Aurora if needed). You will also need a working microphone and computer, bonus points if you have a working camera.
What The Vintage DM brings to the table
I am very much a rule of cool dm, I bring character voices, ambient music, over 10 years of experience, character driven stories, and a welcoming environment. I also have all the maps, vtt, and papers needed for this game.

How The Vintage DM creates a safe table
Before we start, I have everyone fill out an online XNO sheet that gets reviewed over session 0, we also go over clear boundaries and expectations to keep everyone safe. We take breaks, do aftercare, and listen to each other on if we need to stop.
