About the adventure
The realm stands on the edge of total war. Rival kingdoms circle a vast and contested expanse of land rich with ancient ruins, dragonbone relics, and forgotten power; each believing it holds the key to dominion. Your party begins as part of a modest but trusted scouting warband, tasked with safely delivering a noble envoy to a distant kingdom in hopes of securing an alliance before the conflict erupts into something unstoppable. The journey is anything but simple. Roads once safe are now stalked by deserters, mercenaries, and opportunists, while whispers spread of strange happenings tied to the land itself. This is a safe game for all levels of Daggerheart Play. I allow tons of homebrew and customization, so every character will feel unique and delved into. This is a high fantasy, high RP setting that leans into combat as a tactical and cinematic experience. There are going to be some crunchy rules but you will see that they make things feel more lived in and tend to lend to the world being a lot more realistic.
