About me
Hey, I'm Taylore! I've been writing professionally for over a decade and have been playing TTRPGs for about five years. I'm a new-ish GM, but don't expect beginner-level storytelling. I am obsessed with crafting plots full of twists and turns, unforgettable NPCs, and fulfilling character arcs for everyone at my table. I want players to feel comfortable, confident, and empowered to experiment and collaborate, and I'm happy to work with beginner and experienced players alike. Creating your character
- Build a level 3 PC in D&D Beyond (5e/2024 rules; standard array). Once you're set up in the discord, we can chat about your ideas and backstory so I can weave them into the story accordingly. I love character creation, so always happy to help with ideas and build! - For this adventure, please avoid homebrew classes/subclasses. I also encourage checking out the Obojima-specific subclasses, as they add deeper immersion into the world. - You may start with class equipment + background equipment.

You'll just need a Discord account and a character sheet on D&D Beyond. Once you're approved, I'll send through the links to the campaign and the discord server.

🖋️ Players can expect 1-2 long-form posts 5/6 days a week plus additional back-and-forth as scenes play out. Here's what else to expect: ✨ Heavy Roleplay: PCs and the bonds, enemies, and choices they make heavily impact the story. I'm all about treating every PC like they're the main character and creating unforgettable NPCs for them to interact with. 🎥 Theater of the Mind: Since this is a play-by-post adventure, the carnival and everywhere we travel afterwards will be portrayed through compelling dialogue and detailed description that make you feel like you've fallen straight into the world at hand. Happy to supply reference maps on a case-by-case basis (certain combat scenarios, specific settings, etc.) 🌀 Rule of Cool Creativity and fun are top priority at my table, which means I'm big on RoC. Out-of-the-box ideas are supported and encouraged. I follow the rules more closely when it comes to combat. On that note... 🗡️ Light Combat You won't find any rat grinding here. That said, you can expect the combat that does arise to matter: they change the stakes, can set the stage for character development, and/or impact the plot in meaningful ways. 🌈 LGBTQ+ Friendly Come on down, the vibes are good here. 💘 Cozy Romance As a professional writer of over a decade, I conjure romance and relationships that feel real and earned. This campaign offers the chance to romance NPCs within our cozy world.
