About the adventure

Step into the Ancient Near East in a sweeping 5e campaign where history, legend, and prophecy collide. As empires rise and hidden forces move in the shadows, you’ll journey across deserts, cities, and ancient ruins—seeking a missing trio of mages and confronting seven powerful demons before a growing darkness consumes the world. This is a full campaign (levels 1–10) blending exploration, roleplay, and high-stakes encounters. Players will navigate political intrigue, uncover lost secrets, and face supernatural threats rooted in ancient traditions and mythic storytelling. Choices matter, and your actions will shape the fate of nations and the outcome of a prophecy that few truly understand. For those who wish to continue the journey, an optional sequel campaign extends the story to level 20—venturing beyond death itself. This game uses physical miniatures and detailed maps, streamed through a live camera feed to recreate the feel of an in-person tabletop experience online. This campaign is based on The Adventurer’s Guide to the Bible by Red Panda Publishing, available on DriveThruRPG. The adventure has been adapted for a dynamic, player-driven experience, bringing its world, characters, and conflicts to life through immersive storytelling and interactive play. The setting draws heavily from the Bible—but this is not Sunday School! This is an epic adventure inspired by one of the most influential and dramatic stories ever told, filled with danger, mystery, and high-stakes conflict. Whether you’re familiar with the source material or not, the focus is on immersive storytelling and unforgettable moments at the table. My GM style focuses on immersive storytelling, meaningful player choices, and cinematic moments. Whether you enjoy deep roleplay, tactical combat, or uncovering mysteries, this campaign offers a rich and flexible experience tailored to the party. New and experienced players are both welcome.

About me

I’ve been running tabletop RPGs for about three years, primarily as a Dungeon Master for D&D 5e. What started as a hobby quickly became something I take seriously—I enjoy building immersive worlds, meaningful choices, and sessions that players genuinely look forward to. My style focuses on strong storytelling, clear structure, and making sure every player has a place at the table. Whether it’s tactical combat, character-driven roleplay, or exploring a well-built setting, I aim to keep the game engaging, smooth, and easy to follow for both new and experienced players. I’m also the creator of Bible5e Games, where I draw from the Bible as the original source behind much of the fantasy we love today. Stories like Lord of the Rings, Narnia, and even elements of D&D echo themes and ideas that ultimately trace back there. My goal is to bring that depth and richness to the table in a way that feels natural—focused on great storytelling, not preaching. At the end of the day, I care about giving players a great experience—one where they feel involved, challenged, and excited to come back for the next session.

Character creation

Creating your character

Characters will be created during Session 0, where we’ll walk through the process together and establish the tone, expectations, and themes of the campaign. This session will also cover table guidelines, safety tools, and any house rules to ensure everyone is comfortable and aligned before play begins. Players will begin at level 1 with standard starting equipment. Ability scores will be determined using the standard array. Players may use content from official 5e sources (including both 5e and 5.5e Player’s Handbook options). In addition, this campaign includes custom races, backgrounds, and subclasses from The Adventurer’s Guide to the Bible. Players will be provided with access to these materials, and are encouraged to draw from them to help ground their characters in the setting. Because this campaign is rooted in an ancient historical setting, player race options will be discussed during Session 0 to ensure they fit the tone and world of the story. Character management is flexible. Experienced players are welcome to manage their own sheets, while newer players (or anyone who prefers support) can use D&D Beyond or a custom online character sheet provided by the GM. Finally, party dynamics—including alignment, cooperation, and PvP—will be decided as a group during Session 0, ensuring a shared understanding of how the party will function.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Before the game begins, players should complete the following: 1. Join the Discord server (link provided after booking), which will be used for voice, communication, and session coordination. 2. Create a free D&D Beyond account for character creation and reference materials. 3. Create an account on the GM’s website (link provided after booking), which will be used to access additional tools and character sheet support if needed. This game does not use a traditional VTT. Instead, combat and exploration are run using physical miniatures and maps streamed through a live camera feed, providing the feel of an in-person tabletop experience online. No additional software downloads are required beyond Discord.

How Loremaster Brian (Bible5e) creates a safe table

Player safety and comfort are a priority at my table. During Session 0, we will establish expectations together, including a discussion of Lines and Veils to ensure everyone is comfortable with the tone and content of the game. Players will also have access to X, N, & O safety tools, which can be used at any time during play. These will be handled privately via direct message on Discord, allowing players to communicate concerns discreetly and without interrupting the flow of the game. I aim to create a table environment that is respectful, collaborative, and responsive, where players feel comfortable engaging with the story while knowing their boundaries will be honored.
