About the adventure
Welcome to this one shot in my west marches style fishing campaign. In this one shot you and your fishing buddies will have the day to yourself and decide to go to the shores to enjoy yourselves. This is a slice of life game where we don't really battle monsters or explore dungeons, its just a slice of how average people live in a magical city. If you have already played in a one shot that starts with "A simple life" you can bring that same character into this one! Making use of the rule source called "Why slay dragons when you could be fishing?". In this one shot you and your fellow Anglers are going to live through another calm day where you all go about fishing in this wholesome slice of life game.

About me
Hello! im a Canadian GM looking to run a new game for a lovely group of players. I have several years of experience running several types of games. Most notably dnd 5e and shadowrun 5e. I tend to run games rule light and encourage player driven plot points. I was looking to start a new game and thought this would be a great place to do so! if your interested in some good fashioned RP, some challenging but fair brawls, and leaving a mark on a fictional world come on down and say hello.

Creating your character
Character creation will be done by rolling on the roll 20 link posted in your campaigns general chat, you will roll 4d6 drop lowest one 7 times and keep the best 6 stats. Characters will start at level 1 with level 1 starting gear and anything given to you via backgrounds.

Things you will require. - A working mic - A discord account - A roll 20 account - Character art in case we require tokens on the roll 20 - A dnd beyond account if you want to benefit for the character creation benefits of that site

Things i will bring. - A Discord server full of like minded enjoyers of table top games - a roll 20 for visual aids - custom maps made on Inkarnate - a dnd beyond campaign that will allow you to use almost all character creation options from published sources

How Michael from Mars creates a safe table
After Joining the game you will be sent a discord server link that you can go to for communication needs, you will be able to see the safety tools channel which has our monte cook checklist, if something is not on the list you would like to have on the list dm me on discord and i will add it no questions asked. The character sheets channel will provide access to the Dnd beyond campaign link for making a character sheet, not a requirement but generally very helpful.
