About the adventure
The Gods are dying. But not fast enough. You've been chosen, or maybe you just refused to kneel. Either way, your party is standing at the base of the Godspire with a weapon in hand and a God at the top waiting for you to learn whether or not divinity can still bleed. Ragnarok: Even Gods Bleed is a high intensity D&D combat experience built for level 20 characters who want to test the limits on their character concepts and feel like the legends they truly are. Fight through the god's champions, survive their domain and go toe to toe with deities who are fighting for their lives. Every session will feature similar concepts, but with different Deities, new battles, new environments, and the same brutality. What to expect: - 3-4 Hours of hard hitting combat designed for level 20 play - A multi-phase boss fight with a living, reactive lair - No filler, no mystery, just straight ruthless combat They built their thrones on the assumption that mortals would always look up. Prove them wrong

About me
I'm a forever DM who started in 2018 and have almost strictly DM'd ever since. I've been hosting free games for my friends and some great strangers from across the internet for quite some time now. However after feeling the experience of a Paid Table, the players are so much more immersed into their characters which pushes the overall environment of the table to entirely new levels. I love folk horror and mysteries, puzzles, and a more relaxed table environment. I want there to be tension, but I dont enjoy pushing my players to the limits and having them face death at every corner.

What Travis brings to the table
I've never been great with voices, I supply personalities to characters but accept my limitations as a voice actor... For now. Throughout my sessions, you can expect thematic music, tense combats, and a laid-back environment that will be lenient on the rules within reason. I welcome in all players with a pre-session introduction on FoundryVTT, the character sheets, and supply any information necessary to play the game before the session starts. All questions will be answered ahead of session start to make sure there are no concerns leading into the session itself. FoundryVTT allows things like spell animations, attack animations, thematic music, interactive maps and so much more. You can expect to have a fun and intuitive experience regardless of how many sessions you've played at past tables.
Homebrew rules
- Drinking a potion = Bonus Action - Held actions must be pre-determined (Knocking an arrow ready to fire etc) - Critical fails on saving throws = Double Damage - Critical Misses can potentially have consequences based on circumstance (Missing grappled target/hitting ally etc) - Nat 1 and Nat 20 do not guarantee success/failure, depending on bonuses - Making an ability check in combat = Action (If you want to inspect the battlefield, inquire about an enemy...)

How Travis creates a safe table
At any time, players are encouraged to reach out to me on the VTT or discord to express any discomfort with concepts. If comfortable enough, they can speak out at the table to express concern with the direction the game is heading. X,N,O Cards are included in each session on Foundry to give players the option to express thoughts/concerns without directly interrupting gameplay.
