About the adventure
You are part of a YouTube channel known for traveling around the country to find evidence of the paranormal and supernatural. You've covered it all: ghosts, demons, Bigfoot, but the viewers always want more. Even if most believe it's fake. Maybe you're a true believer, maybe not. Doesn't really matter as long as the subscriber count keeps climbing and you get paid. A lot of stuff you've investigated has been pretty standard with less than stellar evidence behind it. Creaking floorboards, moving objects, blurry photos of vaguely humanoid shapes. Nothing concrete. But that's going to change. Creating your character
Character Creation will take place during Session Zero where players will choose a playbook and pick their moves, stats, and establish their characters history with the others. Players are encouraged to have a character concept in mind before Session Zero.

What Laine brings to the table
My tables are focused on character interactions and narrative fulfilment. I want to give players the chance to be the stars of their own story! I love encouraging player creativity and seeing what fun ways they think of for any situation I throw at them.

How Laine creates a safe table
I send out a Lines and Veils survey before game which players will fill out. I will compile the answers into a spreadsheet where the established boundaries will be visible to everyone. This is a living document which can be added to at any time. Players can also utilize typing the X, N, and O in chat to indicate their comfort level with a certain scene or interaction that is taking place. I give everyone a ten minute break halfway through the session before regrouping. If a player needs to take a break either before or after the designated one for their own well-being then that is also welcome. And of course players are encouraged to put their stars and wishes in chat to establish what things they liked and want to continue to see within the game!
