About the adventure
Join me as I do my first run of Starfinder Warframe Operation: Orias! This is a free one-shot to help me learn how to run the module. Warframe is a high speed video game set in the Origin System (aka our solar system) far away from Desna's Path. Warframes are warriors made of bioengineered metal adorned in unique armor and detailing. Protoframes are the predecessors to Warframes when they were still human and had human features. Adventure Background ----------------------- Weeks ago, a group of Corpus explorers captured a pack of Infested Chargers alive and unharmed. The explorers delivered this pack to a base on Europa with the intent of subjecting the Chargers to experimentation. The scientists at the base believe that they can make use of Infested tissue to develop a new type of medicine. In theory, this medicine would make users more resistant to toxins capable of bypassing shields, which would be a great boon to all Corpus agents. Additionally, this medicine would bring in massive profits for the Corpus of Europa. Recently, a lone spy broke into the base at Orias to steal the in-progress formula for this new medicine. The spy managed to hack into Corpus systems and download a copy of the formula, but soon got caught by Corpus guards. Just before their imprisonment, the spy set off a distress beacon, which caught the attention of the Lotus. The Lotus saw it as an opportunity and soon contacted her Tenno allies, tasking them with breaking into the base, rescuing the spy, and finding what information the spy gathered. Little do the Lotus and Tenno know, the spy was working on behalf of the Grineer, who have also picked up the spy’s distress signal.

About me
I've been a D&D player since the days of 3.5 and returned to the game in 2023 and learned 5e. I've ran many one-shots for D&D, Bunkers and Badasses, and Obojima. I've also been in a Pathfinder 2e game campaign for nearly two years now. I started GM-ing as a volunteer at a local game store and loved doing it so much that I applied to become a professional GM with them and after an audition they hired me on. I started my professional GM career in 2025 and can't wait to broaden my horizons. I'm currently running an ongoing Dragonlance 5e campaign, paid one-shots, community volunteer one-shots, and an Obojima campaign for my friends and family. I own a license for Foundry VTT and host my own server. I have a considerable library of content on D&D Beyond and have been recently running games on their Maps VTT. I've been a Discord user since it's first year in service and have hosted and participated in live and play via post games. I'd also be willing to learn to use another platforms (i.e. Roll20, Mirrorscape, Owlbear Rodeo) if necessary. I'm eager to branch out on my professional GM career and hope that I can bring joy to your table.

Creating your character
In this module, we'll be playing four pre-generated Protoframes. The Protoframes include Amir, Aoi, Arthur, and Lettie for those familiar with Warframe. IMPORTANT: This module will be ran with pre-gens ONLY, no custom characters are allowed for this run. These pre-gens are specifically tailored to this adventure and part of the learning process to run it.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
I will be available approximately 1 hour prior to starting the game to aid with any preparation or character creation. Services --------- Players will require a free account on the following services: The Forge (for FoundryVTT) - <https://forge-vtt.com/> Discord (for voice communication) - <https://discord.gg/> Both of these services have paid tiers but those are NOT necessary for this One-Shot, they simply give you more subscription perks. Dice ----- Die rolls will be handled via FoundryVTT using their built-in dice roller. Given the nature of online play, this is the only truly fair method to ensure accurate results. Other Materials ---------------- While not necessary, some of us like to take notes and in that event you'll either need pencil/pen and paper or your note taking app of choice.
