About the adventure
Experience the original Cyberpunk 2020 setting with a fresh coat of CHOO2-infused paint. Using the OG books (Night City Sourcebook especially), delve into the megacorps, starscrapers and low-lifes of Night City's worst (and best) as a top Edgerunner. Every one-shot is different. One week it might be protecting a Rockerboy while he organizes a guerilla concert in a Combat Zone, while another it might be stealing a vehicle (read: megatank) from a Militech F.O.B. Every time, join up with a different crew, different fixers, different gigs. Snort, kill, hack and glide your way into the most secure towers and the seediest hangouts. Talk to slimey corpos, streetrats, scavs and fight against other Edgerunners as the corpos pit you against one another. Find hope and squash bugs. This game uses CBR+PNK for its gameplay and mechanics, but uses Cyberpunk 2020 as the basis for its lore and setting. CBR+PNK offers quick and juicy gameplay on the spot, while Cyberpunk 2020 offers a grandiose vision of a wider universe. The best of both worlds.

About me
I like being everywhere: I’ve started with Cyberpunk, but I’ve dabbled with Vampire, Hunter, Silt Verses, F.I.S.T., even trying my hand at some Pirate TTRPGs. I love titles where I can reward my players mechanically for acting according to their character, for doing good roleplay. I believe that the only way to find out things about yourself is through imagining characters. There's a little bit of ourselves in those characters and that agency helps us approach the darkest parts of our soul from a safe distance. My favorite part of GM-ing is worldbuilding. Expect decrepit descriptions of desolate dumps, vivid visual graphics, suave sounds (music, ambience and everything in-between). I love to stimulate all the senses and tell a story through all the mediums. At the end of the day, the GM and the players are engaging in collaborative storytelling, with the GM serving as a guide through their world. When the players and the GM have a connection – “chemistry” – the system is augmented by their roleplay, no matter what it is.

Creating your character
Players can create CBR+PNK characters on the fly, at the beginning of the session, no preplanning necessary! However, a preppy player will make sure they have 2 characters ready - just in case they get flatlined!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will have to talk to the GM on a preemptive interview on Discord in which they will discuss expectations, experience level, resources needed etc. for both parties to familiarize themselves before the game.
What G-man brings to the table
Expect a knowledgeable and accommodating Storyteller that focuses on the players, providing ample opportunities for their characters to shine. I am heavily experienced in running both Cyberpunk 2020 & RED and I am a huge fan of the genre, so I tend to sell the ambience very well. As an expert in world-building, I will focus on your immersion through music, ambient noises, interesting and relevant characters, as well as drawing parallels from Cyberpunk to our ever-dystopian real world. Night City is different, and I will give you the feeling of a massive urban sprawl where cybernetic implants are rampant. CBR+PNK gives me ample opportunity to allow you to do cool things, to attempt interesting challenges and to roleplay as you want. I enjoy telling powerful stories, so expect a fulfilling one-shot with easy-to-pick-up rules.

Safety
How G-man creates a safe table
The Lines & Veils Doc is available in the Discord Server for any player to add their lines & veils anonymously. Any changes (homebrew, safety etc.) will be discussed amongst all players and the GM before being implemented. Breaks will occur every hour and a half, usually at the midpoint of the session. However, the players can take a break at any point as long as they let the GM know! X, N & O cards will be sent via DM on Discord to the GM. After the end of every session, we will discuss as a group what we enjoyed and what we disliked about the session (Stars & Wishes), including things such as music (too loud/distracting?), ambience (specific triggers that weren't mentioned previously, like dogs barking), characters (if they were too pushy or not), but also our expectations for the future sessions. This is both a session for feedback/debriefing (from the GM to the players, from the players to the GM and for players by other players), as well as a short aftercare for any sort of bleed-through of emotional depth from the story into real life.
