About the adventure
Night City didn’t get saved—it got upgraded. The streets glow brighter, the corpos smile wider, and everything runs smoother… on the surface. Beneath it? The same rot, just better hidden. In Cyberpunk 2084, Pacifica and Dogtown have fused into The Verge—a sprawling, unstable district where neon bleeds into ruin, gangs clash with corporate enforcers, and something in the system is starting to think for itself. People glitch. Memories don’t line up. Faces don’t match the eyes behind them. And the deeper you dig, the more it feels like the city isn’t just watching anymore—it’s rewriting. This is a dark, gritty, narrative-driven Cyberpunk RED campaign focused on survival, identity, and power in a world where corporations don’t just own everything—they are everything. You’ll run jobs, make deals, betray allies, and carve out your reputation in a city that eats legends for breakfast. Expect high-stakes firefights, tense roleplay, moral decisions that actually matter, and a story that evolves around your choices. This isn’t a theme park—it’s a living, breathing nightmare you get to shape. My style is cinematic, fast-paced, and character-focused. I lean heavily into immersion—voice acting, music, and vivid descriptions to make every scene feel like a movie. Combat is deadly and impactful, roleplay is encouraged, and your backstory will matter. I reward creativity, bold decisions, and players who show up ready to engage with the world and each other. If you like stories with weight, consequences, and moments that hit hard—you’ll feel at home here. This game is for players who want more than just gigs and gunfights. It’s for people who want to step into a world that pushes back, where trust is fragile, and where the line between human and something else is starting to disappear. Welcome to 2084. Try not to lose yourself.

About me
I’m GM Kam 🎲, a professional Game Master running cinematic, story-driven D&D and Cyberpunk RED campaigns where your choices truly matter. I got into tabletop about 12 years ago and have been GMing consistently with my adventuring group for the past 8 years—this is what I love to do 🔥 I specialize in original settings like Shadows of Verdania (political intrigue), Chains of Sith’Radoon (brutal survival), Ashen Gears (steampunk wasteland), Morenna’s Game (haunted horror), Beast of Tashnar (epic high-level play), and Order of the Eyes (West Marches across planes and time) 🌍 I love having new players at my tables 👥, but I do expect people to show up and be part of the story—this is a committed, immersive experience ⚔️ Private custom campaigns are $30 per player/session 💼, fully built around your group and your story. If you’re ready for something immersive, intense, and unforgettable—let’s play 👁️🔥

Creating your character
We’ll be creating characters using Demiplane, and you’ll have full access to the Edgerunners DLC for expanded options and content. Characters will be built using standard Cyberpunk RED rules, with guidance from me to make sure everything is clean, balanced, and fits the world. I encourage players to come in with a concept—edgerunner, ganger, corpo burnout, netrunner addict, whatever fits the vibe—and we’ll shape it together into something that works mechanically and narratively. Your character should have a reason to be in Night City and a reason to work with others (even if you don’t trust them). Backstories don’t need to be long, but they should have hooks—because I will use them. If you’re new, don’t stress it. I’ll walk you through the process step-by-step and help you understand your role, gear, and abilities. If you’re experienced, you’ve got full freedom to build something sharp—as long as it fits the tone of a gritty, high-stakes 2084 Night City.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You’ll need a working microphone and a Discord account, as all voice communication and session coordination will happen there. Once you join, I’ll send you an invite to the server where we’ll handle sessions, updates, and any between-session roleplay or announcements. We’ll be using Owlbear Rodeo as our VTT, so no downloads are required—just make sure you have a stable internet connection and are using a browser that can handle it (Chrome is recommended). I’ll provide the link to the game room before each session. Character creation will be done on Demiplane, so be sure to have your account ready and your character built (or at least started) before Session 1. If you need help, I’ve got you—we can walk through it together. Most importantly, come ready to engage. This is a cinematic, story-driven game, so being present, communicating clearly, and participating in the world will make the experience better for everyone.
What GM Kam brings to the table
My GM style is cinematic, immersive, and player-driven. I lean heavily into descriptive storytelling, character voices, and ambient music to make every scene feel like you’re inside a living, breathing Night City. Expect tense conversations, high-pressure moments, and scenes that play out like something straight from a cyberpunk anime or movie. Combat is fast, brutal, and meaningful. When things pop off, they matter—positioning, decisions, and teamwork all play a role, but I keep things moving so it never drags. I balance tactical combat with cinematic flow, so you’ll get the best of both worlds: smart play is rewarded, but cool, creative actions are always encouraged. I strongly believe in the Rule of Cool, but it doesn’t override consequence. If you want to try something wild, I’m probably going to say yes—but the world will react accordingly. This is a high-stakes setting, and your choices—good or bad—will have real impact on the story, your reputation, and how Night City responds to you. Above all, I build games around your characters. Your backstory, your decisions, and your relationships will shape the narrative. I’m not here to tell my story—I’m here to help us tell ours together, in a world that pushes back, evolves, and remembers everything you Do.

Safety
How GM Kam creates a safe table
run a game that’s dark, intense, and high-stakes, but your safety and comfort always come first. Before we start, we’ll go over boundaries together—what’s on-limits, off-limits, and what should fade to black. You’re never expected to engage with content that makes you uncomfortable. I use simple, effective safety tools like Lines & Veils and open communication throughout the game. If something comes up mid-session, you can speak up at any time—no explanation needed—and we’ll adjust immediately. Player comfort always takes priority over the story. Respect at the table is non-negotiable. This is a collaborative experience, and everyone deserves to feel heard, safe, and included. If issues come up between players, I address them quickly and directly to keep the table a good environment for everyone.
