About the adventure
This is a wonderful one-shot written by Kelsey Dionne (AKA: Arcane Library). While the adventure is spooky, the rules don't need to be! My games are 100% beginner friendly and welcoming to all experience levels. Join me on this frightening journey into the mysterious Moldavia Manor in search of the missing attendants of it's recent masque. This one-shot features an immersive atmosphere, dramatic storytelling and strong horror themes. Perfect for fans of Edgar Allen Poe, H.P Lovecraft or Junji Ito! My games focus on immersion and inclusion! Expect lots of ambiance, terrifying descriptions, tense combats and plenty of chances for roleplay. I'll keep the rules clear and streamlined so players of any experience level can focus on the story and becoming immersed in the world.

Hello there! My name is Dave and I've been playing TTRPGs since 2013. I transitioned to the role of "forever DM" several years ago because of my immense love of telling stories and creative expression! Creating your character
Character creation should be done before session one on DnD Beyond. Characters should be level three, use point buy or standard array stats and can make use of any official DnD content (2014 OR 2024). Not used to making characters? I'm happy help! Just let me know and Ill gladly help you create your own or provide you with a premade character that feels like part of the world.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Characters: Create your character on DnD beyond and download the chrome extension "Beyond 20". This will let you roll on the VTT through your character sheet. VTT: If you don't have one, create a roll20 account. This is where all our maps, music and visuals will be. Discord: After joining the adventure, I will provide you with an invite to my discord server. This will be how we talk during the session and how I will be able to answer questions and provide assistance outside of game time.
What Goblin RPGs (Dave) brings to the table
To provide you with the most immersive experience possible, I utilize ambiance music and images, character voices and strong narrative descriptions. When it comes to rules I am knowledgeable but flexible. I have a strong grasp on the rules as written and game mechanics but am not afraid to utilize the rule of cool to keep things fun and cinematic. My table is 100% welcoming and the only folks that don't have a place are those who are not willing to help provide that safe and inclusive environment.

How Goblin RPGs (Dave) creates a safe table
My games are open door for anyone who needs to step away for a moment. I also utilize a 10 minute break in the middle of each session so we can hydrate, use the restroom or unwind a bit after an intense combat. We will also take a minute at the beginning of the session to discuss lines and veils that will help you feel comfortable.
