Hey, y'all I'm V.J. (they/he). I'm the owner of VJH Creations LLC. I've been GMing for 6 years at this point but have been a fan of the fantasy/science fiction genre my entire life! I have a small background in theater, a large background in creative writing, and an equally large background in educating and training others! I've primarily worked with/GM'ed in D&D 5e but I am wanting to branch out and try a bunch of new systems and even run my own published system some more! I take a lot of inspiration from the modern and old-school media I consume. I love going through previous editions of D&D and OSR to get inspiration for my games. Creating your character
Players will need to bring characters to the first session. Players can choose any platform they see fit to use for their character stat sheets but they will also have to fill out a google spreadsheet so I have easy access to everyone's character information. Once you've joined the discord there will be further information on options for how to create your character sheet.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need a mic, a webcam is optional for them I will not have my webcam on. Players will need to have read the basic rules (which can be found here: https://dnd.wizards.com/what-is-dnd/basic-rules). If players don't already have discord they will need to install that. Players can use physical dice or digital dice but will need to make their own arrangement for dice and there will be no printout of their character sheet provided by me.
What VJHCREATIONS brings to the table
I utilize ambient music, character voices occassionally. I mostly Rules as Written but flexible enough to use Rule as Cool after discussing it with a player or players. Some combat will be very straight forward while others will be tactical.
