About me

Hey, y'all I'm V.J. (they/he). I'm the owner of VJH Creations LLC. I've been GMing for 6 years at this point but have been a fan of the fantasy/science fiction genre my entire life! I have a small background in theater, a large background in creative writing, and an equally large background in educating and training others! I've primarily worked with/GM'ed in D&D 5e but I am wanting to branch out and try a bunch of new systems and even run my own published system some more! I take a lot of inspiration from the modern and old-school media I consume. I love going through previous editions of D&D and OSR to get inspiration for my games. If you play with me you can expect dynamic social encounters. Dangerous combat situations and engaging exploration. I'm currently a freelance TTRPG game designer! I'm most well known for An Elf and an Orc Had a Little Baby Vol I and II, Monstrous Components from MCDM's Arcadia, and Those Who Wander, a 5e compatible system. GM style

The most important thing about my GM style is that I don't run games that have sexism, racism, transphobia, queerphobia, and ableism in them. I think that conflict can occur without real-world bigotry. But since I take inspiration from all types of genres and games my GM style has a lot to offer. I enjoy very tactical fights and love to whip out mini-games like Kingdoms and Warfare. I love roleplay, exploration, and creating an immersive experience through music.
