About the adventure
Carro: Hunt for the Blood Queen is a fun, but serious campaign about the undead rising again, with the druids having more or less disappeared, it's your job to get to the bottom of this mystery, defeat the horde, or destroy the people responsible for it while uncovering forgotten lore about the world. The game is a long term campaign that typically takes between 1.5 years to 4 years to complete if you do all "sidequests", the campaign is centered around the main plot that is to somehow stop this horde of undead and necromancers and spoil their plans to take over the world, but overall the campaign is focused on the players having a good time with ajustable rules and systems that will be discussed at Session 0. Carro: Hunt for the Blood Queen is a very customizable campaign allowing players to more or less make their own "pick your own adventure" style play, with different outcomes for all interactions, this also means that you don't need to complete all sidequests to understand the plot of the campaign, but you are of course advised and encouraged to explore the world freely and as much as you want to. But above ALL else, the MOST important thing is of course enjoyment, I am always open for both suggestions and ideas, and notes and comments on what you as an individual think about the sessions.

About me
Hello, and welcome! I’m Vict, a Dungeon Master with almost six years of experience as a God. In my games you will find anything from exstremly challenging and tactical combat to long-form and emotinal roleplay, depending on the wishes of the party. I run games in a very developed homebrew world that I’ve been building and refining for multiple years, with a strong focus on internal consistency and realism. I prefer a more grounded style of play, using optional rules and alternative rulings that elevate D&D beyond what you will normally find such rulings can be things like: lingering injuries, adjusted rest mechanics, and other systems designed to make player choices feel meaningful and impactful. All homebrew rules are explained during Session 0, and players can opt in or out of specific systems so the game fits their comfort level (All players must agree on what optional rules that the party will play with). I love storytelling and actively encourage players to help shape my world through their characters and backstories. If you enjoy seeing your character’s backstory be important to the story we're telling, you’ll feel right at home at my table. I’m always expanding my setting, and I look forward to running games for players who enjoy immersive worlds, thoughtful roleplay, and encounters that will leave your characters with one foot in the grave. I hope you’ll find me to be an engaging and enjoyable Dungeon Master.

Creating your character
The character creation process will be done during the Session 0 where questions about everything will be answered, certain races and classes are banned due to lore implications, but most things are avaliable to play. Certain races, due to the lore of my world does gain an extra bonus from their orign, like a Kobold gaining Resistence to their dragons damage type like a Red Kobold gains Fire Resistence, and so on.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
To prepare for the game, you'll need Discord and a working microphone with decient sound quality, not studio quality but just good enough that it doesn't sound like skraping nails on a whiteboard. You will also need access to Roll20, DNDBeyond and get the Chrome Extention Beyond20 since we will be using Roll20 for maps and DNDBeyond for character creation. Physical dice are allowed for those that wishes to use them, you are free to use them without having a webcam on showing your rolls, but if you get too lucky, too many times over a short period of time you will need to use digital dice.
What Victor brings to the table
I will provide for the game, the story itself, I do voices and I offer interesting roleplay senerios and really difficult combat, I use the Rule of Cool a lot, but certain places I will stick to RAW.

How Victor creates a safe table
Safety I think is an interesting topic, and extreamly hard to write down what "tools" I use, but my messages are always open if you feel like you experienced something that you feel like was crossing a line and was too much, you are also more than welcome to stop me mid-session/dialogue to say that you feel uncomfortable.
