About the adventure
This is a rule of cool open world adventure that requires investigative skills while exploring a vast city. You will be joining factions, "helping" the city guard and will meet beloved characters along the way. This is a great campaign for both new players and experienced players alike. We will be mainly running 2014 rule set but with some mechanics such as crafting from the 2024 books.

About me
I am a New Orleans based game master who plays a variety of ttrpgs. I like to focus more on role play and problem solving aspects over hard game mechanics. I try to make all my games have the feel of casually hanging with your friends every week.

Creating your character
Characters will be created on D&D Beyond in our 0 session. We will be making level 1 characters but it is important that the characters know each other before the adventure begins.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need the following accounts- Discord, D&D beyond, and Roll20. All books and tools will be provided by me when you join so you do not need to purchase anything.
What The Wired Nerd (Adam) brings to the table
I provide all compendium resources needed to play (Players Handbook, Storm Coast, Adventurers Guide, Etc) I will also have VTT maps available for most scenarios where theater of the mind doesn't cut it. I basically stick to basic rules of the game but will adjust for flavor or rule of cool.
Homebrew rules
I do run a modified critical failure rule during combat but will discuss in 0 session if the table wants to use it.

Safety
How The Wired Nerd (Adam) creates a safe table
At the start of the campaign we will go over what you are all comfortable with what expectations are as far as interacting with other players. My discord is always available if something is making you uncomfortable. I will check in at the end of every session if anyone has any comments about that day's session. I will also have the deck of player safety available for the campaign.
