About the adventure
You have been hired by your dwarven friend Gundren to deliver a wagon full of mining supplies to the small frontier town of Phandalin. Gundren has been very secretive about his discovery and went on ahead. A nice and easy job for a friend. What could go wrong? Welcome to "The Lost Mine of Phandelver", the classic introduction to Dungeons & Dragons! No matter if beginner or experienced player, this module allows you to express yourself and experience an adventure that you will remember forever. You will get everything you need for an immersive experience: A virtual tabletop, artworks, maps and battlemaps, tokens, music and most importantly your own adventure. If you are new, I will help you to make a character and learn how to play by just playing the game. LMoP might be a module, but (in my experience) leaves enough freedom for why we play TTRPGs: Choices. Consequences. A unique adventure for your party and you. I hope we can make this fun for all of us!

How Matt creates a safe table
The game should be fun and exciting! Nobody should have to worry about safety or being comfortable. Before the group meets, I will have a 1:1 talk with you. Your experience, expecations and what you want from the adventure. After that, I will send you a fillable checklist for no-gos and things you dont want to see in the game. I will send the combined (anonymized) list with fade-to-black and forbidden topics to everyone before the game starts. The lines and veils can always be refined and redefined. I have an open door policy, which means: You can walk away from a session at any time, for any reason, without saying anything. I do not disappear after a session, you can always chat with me and the others in discord. You dont have an adventure without becoming friends along the way.
