About the adventure
In Public Access, your characters are from a remote little town known as Deep Lake, New Mexico in Degoya County. You grew up there, or only stayed there a little while, though not knowing each other, and then for whatever reason life took you out of town and you haven't been back. Until NOW See, it's the dawning of the digital age, and like any normal 20 somethings, you're on your computer a lot. You met each other on a forum, bonding over the fact that you lived in Deep Lake and were latchkey kids in the late 80s-early 90s. Also...you all remember a strange public access tv station known as TV Odyssey. The station, according to all reports, simply vanished one day. Without a trace. Official story? It burned down. But that doesn't stop the conspiracies and internet whisperings. People say that sometimes you can find VHS tapes marked with a purple clamshell that contains some recorded program of TV Odyssey--or rather they find you. You and your forum friend(s) decide you have to get to the bottom of the mystery of TV Odyssey. Because there's something sinister lurking beneath. Something that may even connected to the terrible trauma you faced as a child...a trauma that's too blurry to remember clearly. It's the summer of 2004 and you have come back to town and are currently renting a house on Rodenbecker Street. You haven't had a lot of luck so far in your investigations yet, but soon you're going to stumble upon some strange mysteries in town that will keep you occupied...or maybe they're all connected?

About me
Hi, I’m Laine! And I absolutely love ttrpgs. They are such a fun collaborative and creative outlet. It all started with a one-off between me and friends and I was hooked. My hope is to provide a fun space for everyone to explore stories and characters outside of the everyday. My favorite systems include Monsterhearts, Monster of the Week, and Thirsty Sword Lesbians! Most Powered by the Apocalypse games are a yes for me!

Creating your character
Character creation will occur during Session Zero. A character concept ready by the session is encouraged. Character creation in Public Access is quite easy and 'on the go'.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
All players will need the following in order to play: a working mic (use of webcams is not required) and a Discord account. No prior knowledge of Public Access or its rules is required.
