About the adventure
Outlaws of Alkenstar spans level 1 to 10 and begins as a rather small stakes adventure that blossoms into a grander conspiracy. The players take the roles of a group of desperate adventurers looking to make their way in the harsh reality of Alkenstar. The adventure explores the seedy underbelly of the most technologically advanced society in Golarion. Alkestar is a place of technology and invention. Gunpowder is common, as is clockwork robotics. The frequent storms of the Mana Wastes make magic unpredictable and unreliable (this is handwaved a little bit in this adventure, so you can feel free to play a wizard!) Like many pre-made adventure paths Outlaws of Alkenstar is a bit bare-bones, so I've done some work to flesh out and add some connective tissue to the adventure. As a player, you shouldn't even notice these modifications.

About me
I'm a 37 year old man with about 25 years of experience with playing and running TTRPGs. Through the years I've mostly played D&D, but have branched out into WoD as well as some niche swedish games. I'm a calm and friendly person with a great deal of patience and a love of teaching. As an RPG player I enjoy in-character interaction more than anything and enjoy character growth as they learn to know and rely on each other.

Creating your character
Characters will be created during session 0, which will be free. I suggest you have a concept in mind, but this isn't required. We start at level 1. No free archetype or other optional rules. Common and uncommon options are fair game, rare options require approval (though they are generally fine).

Safety
How Jacob Berg creates a safe table
• We do a Lines and Veils document. • I go over the Luxton technique during session 0. This is a technique that empowers a distressed person to take control of the situation and decide how to resolve it (change the scene, gloss over it, some other alteration). This can be triggered either by speaking up, if you're comfortable, or messaging X & N's.
