About the adventure
In this campaign, your party will encounter another group of adventurers as you enter into a globetrotting journey across Wildemount. This adventure will be a great intro to campaigns for players who have previously played one-shots. Beginners and Veterans alike will enjoy this trip through the mind of Matthew Mercer.

About me
I have been playing and GMing for almost two years and have enjoyed the experience immensely. In that short time, I've discovered a passion for being a Game Master. I've played DND 5e, both 2014 and 2024. I've played Daggerheart and Call of Cthulu as well. In addition, I've taken classes on GMing through Altrole.

Creating your character
Session 0 will walk players through character creation. Starting from Level 1, stats will be rolled just like the good old days. Anything 5e is game. Character created on DND Beyond, so if you don't have an account yet you'll need to get one and familiarize yourself with the site, since we will be using it for our campaign.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Discord server invite will be sent via messages, and DND Beyond invite will be sent through Discord. Discord will be primary communication after joining campaign.
What Dakota brings to the table
I do voices, stick with Rules as Written, and focus on helping you become the player you want to be. I will be working on incorporating music, but as of right now it is not a component that I can promise.
Homebrew rules
Potion drinking is a Bonus Action We use the Perkin's Crit (max damage dice plus roll) If you want something specific, run it by me as soon as possible.

How Dakota creates a safe table
Lines and Veils will be sent prior to Session 0 and we will go over it during Session 0, in case anyone missed it or didn't have a chance to read it. We will also go over etiquette, do's and don'ts. We also do a debrief after sessions to discuss anything that was a question, comment, or concern.
