About the adventure
We will be telling a story together in a high fantasy world. The origins of which have been lost to time. The beautiful, mysterious and sometimes deadly world of Rumelia is open for exploration. Whether you're walking the streets of the steam powered city of Welnant or avoiding the Steel Magi of Glathria you'll find adventure wherever you go! I myself am a DM of roughly 10 years and have a passion for creating memorable characters and harrowing encounters! I want you to end the session feeling like you just went through an epic adventure every time!

About me
Hello all! I've been a GM for roughly ten years and love it! I always get enthusiastic when role-playing comes into play and innovative combat encounters. I make my own maps and can run modules but much prefer to run homebrew games and campaigns.

Creating your character
Characters will be starting at level 1. We will create characters in our session 0 but please bring ideas to the table if you have any! I am always available to help walk through new players character creation.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Webcams are not necessary but a working microphone is. I would prefer people to have a basic grasp of the rules but am willing to work outside of the sessions to help someone understand the rules and their character if need be. No software needs to be installed. We will be using discord to communicate but you can open that through a browser. We will be using DnD Beyond for character creation.

How Jak creates a safe table
First and foremost my tables are always LGBTQ+ friendly. You will never be turned away because of how you identify, what your religion is, or your preferred sexuality. I will also not tolerate hate speech of any kind whether the persons targeted are present or not. This is your first and only warning. Secondly, I am a proponent of life>DnD. Things come up in our real lives that we can not control. If you need to skip a session or two to handle your real life issues then you have my full support with the option to rejoin either this campaign or another one I host later on. Third and last I will always respect a persons Lines and Veils but I do have an insanely bad memory. If there is an instance where I say something that you said would bother you flag me in a private message as soon as it happens and I will resolve the issue. Whether that means retracting backwards or avoiding whatever was said moving forward. Fourth, there will be a session 0 for this campaign. This campaigns session 0 is free so each individual can decide if this is the right table for them. We can also discuss lines and veils and what kind of game you would like to play. While this is a module I want each person to have an enjoyable time so feel free to do what you would like during the campaign! I'm flexible enough to make improvisations!
