About the adventure
Set along the coast of Maine and the Atlantic Provinces of Canada- Fog City Tyrants has players begin as citizens of a modest island settlement on the coast down river from the ruins of Bangor. Home to a vault, and a survivable fishery, Mt. Desert is as close to idyllic a part of the wasteland that is America can be. This game will have our players adventuring to protect this home, and to save others from a terrible destruction- all along the coast of Maine and up into Canada, looking for supplies and an end to the chaos that has befallen them. This game will begin at level 1, and is open for beginners who are just learning the system or interested in learning the system!

About me

Creating your character
Characters will be made together in a pre-game session 0. We'll work on creating the group and their dynamic together as well as flushing out the NPC's for the 'home base' on Mt. Desert together! We'll be creating characters using only first party produced materials with no homebrew. So beginners can follow along with the book for ease of access.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
For this all you need is a Discord, and working microphone! Zone maps will be provided over discord- if discord becomes untenable due to the actions of the company, we may switch to a VTT such as Roll20
What Junior brings to the table
I'll provide an engaging, comprehensive story sandbox for characters to explore in, leaning into the parts of the Fallout mythos that players love the most, with the forehand knowledge of being born and raised in the area to really capture that Atlantic feel. I tend to keep my combats intense, gritty, and open to failure, but I also want the players to win if they can. As this game is open for beginners there's a good chance I will be teaching as much as GM'ing, as such I intend to keep things as Rules as Written as possible for the sake of system clarity.

How Junior creates a safe table
During our session 0 I like to ask my players for hard noes, soft noes as well as hard yeses. I try to create a fun and engaging platform for us all to enjoy ourself in and feel safe. There is an open door policy- no questions asked, and if something ever hits a trigger someone was unaware of rolling back events in the game (and taking breaks) are all acceptable at my table. The goal is having fun.
