About the adventure
This game is intended to be about a group of ambitious adventurers and how they interact with a cold but promising realm in the far northeast of the civilized lands. The snowy season has begun in the March of Ravenlaw as these adventurers answer the call to sort out a minor issue for a considerable amount of money they're paid upfront. Nothing fishy. There's schemes afoot and profit to be made. The Margrave has an aura of doom around him, but that's unlikely to factor into your situation, right? We'll have fun exploring our characters as they navigate their situation in a light-hearted - but also gritty - classical medieval fantasy setting.

Meet the Game Master

About me
I am 29 years old and have been gamemastering on and off since I was 11. I enjoy all sorts of roleplaying, but mostly play DnD. I've run games on Roll20, but most of my experience is playing in person. Personally I most enjoy post-apocalyptic and fantasy media. Playing roleplaying games sustains me, I love co-creating stories both as a player and as a GM.

Creating your character
We will have a free session 0 and one-on-one chats to create your characters. When thinking up a character concept, the most important question to answer is "why has my character come so far?" Character creation is fairly lax and customizable, if you have a concept we can probably work with it.
What to expect

What Artur Rõigas brings to the table
I aim to create a fun time with a plausible story we all tell together. The party has a lot of agency in determining the tone and type of game, how much combat there will be, etc. I'm not opposed to dramatic heel turns and improvising in any situation. I also enjoy invoking the Rule of Cool occasionally, if the story benefits.
Homebrew rules
I use some external systems to manage certain areas of the game. I have modified critical hits, making them hit even harder very rarely.

How Artur Rõigas creates a safe table
We will discuss what everyone seeks from the game and what they are not interested in, or are uncomfortable with, in session 0. We will be using Lines and Veils. After the game we will have a debrief and feedback session, time permitting.
