About Artur Rõigas
I am 29 years old and have been gamemastering on and off since I was 11. I enjoy all sorts of roleplaying, but mostly play DnD. I've run games on Roll20, but most of my experience is playing in person. Personally I most enjoy post-apocalyptic and fantasy media. Playing roleplaying games sustains me, I love co-creating stories both as a player and as a GM.

I got started GMing...
at the age of 11, having played a few sessions as a player and reading the rulebooks obsessively. I pestered plenty of people to play with me and some of them liked it. I started with a completely homebrew setting and mostly improvisational games.
How Artur Rõigas runs games
I usually run a homebrew setting with loosely consistent lore, but details and themes of each individual campaign is tailored to the specific party. In my games the stakes may be high, but often enough rule of cool overrides technicalities, pretty much anything can be attempted once. I also try to reward creativity and effort, I consciously work on noticing when players roleplay and what details they put in their backstory. I've ran games with various themes, but generally I trend towards medieval fantasy that is fun, interesting and slightly goofy but also slightly brutal.
Artur Rõigas's ideal table
Everyone has to be friendly. Players are urged to make their characters likeable and cooperative. PvP is only tolerated when both players believe this would be good for the development of their characters. Goofy jokes and bad puns are welcome, but ideally we stay mindful of the time and don't sidetrack for too long.

I love it when a player
contributes to the world lore. I love incorporating the players' (sometimes silly) ideas into the setting.
