About the adventure
Start on a small series of adventures that will lead you right into the center of intrigue. Explore, gain allies, and prepare to lead a full scale engagement! All the while uncovering lost history, ancient civilizations, and old grudges. Players start the adventure in a small, neutral village on the coast currently plagued by a blight. Beyond the village, the country faces rising tensions over the threat of a new war. The interim king has held his position for far too long, and rumors suggest he is holding the royal family hostage. Players will journey through a custom world based on high fantasy, mystery, eldritch horror, and Scp files (Anomalies), where they will explore, have cave/mine/dungeon crawls, role play, fight, have skill challenges, investigate, and possibly run away as they travel around through multiple countries. There are lots of maps, but also some theater of the mind. There will be a free session zero for character creation, discussions about backstories, and minor lore discussions about what characters would know. We will be using the 2014 rules for the game. This game is perfect for veterans, and new players alike to come explore. So if you like games that start as a simple series of adventures that turn into something much bigger and deeper then this might be for you.

About me
Hi, My name is John. I've been playing Ttrpg games for 20 years, and I have been Gming for 5 years. I began when our regular Dm at the time needed a break, and I decided why not give it a try. So I decided to do one of the dumbest things......and create a custom high fantasy campaign for 7 players with a fully home brewed story mixed with scp elements, custom abilities, and more. To say the least it was an undertaking, and has been exceptionally rewarding. I have been the full time Dm for going on 3 years solid since the end of our other game. I started playing 2nd edition when i was 17 and have loved the story telling, and fun that comes with this format ever since. I have played 2nd edition, 4e(briefly, it did not go well lol),5e , Werewolf the Apocalypse, Star Wars, Monster of the Week, and a couple others over the years. I have spent the last 8 years playing weekly with a group of people that i couldn't have been luckier to find. In that time we have built a large custom world full of life, lore, and so many possibilities.
