About the adventure
Awakening as a mage can be both a harrowing and beautiful event in a person's life. As new worlds and possibilities become exposed to you, so do new horrors. With all the changes, there are worse places to awaken than Rockport, MA. A town with a long history, Rockport has mysteries from pre-colonial times for a mage to explore as well as being a slow paced and pleasant place to live. Scenic, an hour from Boston, and over all fun. Unlike the normal pleasantries of your home, a storm is on the horizon. Hurricane Denton is on its way and even just on the horizon its had an effect. Cape Ann is now cut off from the mainland, the town of Gloucester has been completely subsumed by the sea. Somehow Rockport has not flooded or worse yet, by some miracle. Most people have left the cape, but those too poor, stubborn, or slow have stayed and become trapped. You stayed because you are a mage and something in the storm calls to you. While not all of either the local Seers or the local Orders left, its at best a skeleton crew of interested people more taken by their obsessions than common sense. From the beginning the mages all knew the storm was magical. They knew it came from a non-supernal source and wanted to witness it. Awakened to the Storm will see mages stuck within the region of Cape Ann, Massachusetts as a magical hurricane imparts its many varied effects upon the region.

About me
Hello, my name is Oscar and I am a game designer and active GM! I hope to GM a wide variety of games for an equally wide variety of people so that I can experience more perspectives on TTRPG's. I like the strange and the niche and want to bring unique TTRPG experiences to life! I've been a GM since 2017 and in that time I have run a number of different types of game. From galaxy spanning space adventures to gritty and cruel low fantasy I can run a variety of different tones and settings. I tend towards more combat but I am just as happy to run more story and role-play focused games. I'm not overly attached to any one system, and if I don't already know it I'm happy to learn it. I've actively run Exalted, Lancer, Crowns, Five Torches Deep, and Shadow of the Demon Lord as well as familiarized myself with Eclipse Phase, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 4e, Chronicles of Darkness, Pathfinder 2e, and Cyberpunk RED
