About the adventure
This game is likely to start no sooner than March 27th, a game in the same slot is finishing up and I will need time to get the Foundry Server set up for this game. This game will provide an introduction to the system (for those new players) by running a well-liked First Edition Warhammer adventure "The dying of the light" this will allow you to explore the system and setting, and once the adventure concludes, anyone that has found they enjoy it may stick around as their character's become embroiled in the Second Edition Campaign "The Thousand Thrones". Warhammer Fantasy is a grimdark world with its share of gallows humor, the world is dirty, the people are poor and monsters lurk in the forests and the raid the roads. Combat is often fast and brutal, even combat characters should weigh whether there is a reason *not* to avoid a potential fight, because even fighting characters can find themselves swiftly out of their depths and cut down. In the "Dying of the Light", the characters will be sent to Marienburg on what seems to be a pretty easy pick-up job. However when they get there, they swiftly find themselves embroiled in machinations of cults and daemons and an ancient prophecy. After wrapping up, the Dying of the Light, we jump into The Thousand Thrones in Marienburg, where a young child has just been witnessed to smiting a mutant with a blacksmith's maul while bearing the twin-tailed comet of sigmar on his chest. The child was heralded as the reincarnation of Sigmar and quickly gathered a following of cultists around him, now this child and his procession is marching to altdorf to have him properly acknowledged by the Grand Theogonist. The characters will be asked—or hired—to look into the situation for the good of the Empire. Of course this investigation will quickly compound, leading the players all throughout the Empire... and possibly beyond.

About me
Hey! I'm Dyer, I've been playing RPGs for over 30 years, my older brother started playing them with me before i hit double digits and I'm familiar with a wide variety of games. I am a progressive, non-adversarial GM that believes in player agency and table safety. I also absolutely love teaching people new games, and thought this would be a great way to do that.

Creating your character
Character Creation will work pretty much by default, using WFRP 4E Foundry's powerful charactermancer. ⚔️ Random generation will only create humans. You can choose another Species. ⚔️ No Ogres, No Skinks ⚔️ Only Humans get Star Signs. ⚔️ Human characters are strongly encouraged and will be getting an extra 25 Starting XP.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Come prepared to play or learn warhammer fantasy 4e. There is a LOT to read, so if a new player passes on reading the book, that's fine, I'm more than happy to lead and teach you the game!
What Dyer brings to the table
Access to all the information needed to play and than some, access to a dedicated foundry server hosted through forge, which should be almost always available (I have 3 foundry licenses, so even if I'm in another game, there are still 2 more servers able to be active)
Homebrew rules
I full list of optional and house rules found here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Zlhg_aMAhgbpNecli6iQ5gPDOMMI78fOG5I75wLj258/edit?usp=sharing
