About the adventure
Step into a reimagined Sword Coast where your choices define the map. This campaign is a high-production Super-Sandbox that seamlessly weaves Phandelver and Below and Dragon of Icespire Peak into one massive, living narrative. The game focuses on clever problem-solving, meaningful choices, and character-driven stakes. Combat is designed to feel cinematic and dangerous, with moments where pushing beyond your limits can leave a lasting mark on your character’s story. Rather than making the game harsh for its own sake, these rules are used to make victories feel earned, close calls feel memorable, and your character’s journey feel shaped by the dangers they survive. Gather your gear and answer the call. The Sword Coast is dangerous, mysterious, and full of opportunity. How far your story goes is up to you! The Vibe-Check Guarantee To ensure our playstyles are a perfect match, Session 0 and Session 1 are entirely FREE.

About me
Greetings adventurer, welcome to my profile. I’m Greg, though many know me as DM Fantom. Living at UTC+1 timezone and since 2020, I’ve been guiding parties through thrilling quests across West Marches servers and running classic pen-and-paper campaigns at the table. I have a passion for tactical combat, but what I enjoy most is seeing players surprise me with clever, outside-the-box solutions. If you’re looking for a game that’s lighthearted and fun, yet brimming with danger and excitement, then you’re in the right place. Are you ready to roll the dice and embark on your next great adventure?

Creating your character
Please have a general description like ( Species, Class, Background) of your character and add those details to the D&D Beyond link, you will get, before session 0. On session 0, we can iron the missing details. You can always contact me, if you have a question or require help creating your character. For STATS you will use the Standard Array. No rolling or point buy. This is done to make the process simpler for players with less experience. Species should be from the following books: PHB (2014), MPMM, TCE, Fizban's. Class: Any (2014) class from the available resources in my D&DBeyond is valid. Multi class is allowed for up to 1 extra class ( total of 2 classes per character) Characters will use XP to level up. When the threshold to level up is reached, the party will need a LONG REST, in order to level up. Only Backgrounds that do not grant feats are allowed. The game will start at level 1 and proceed around level 10, depending on the side quests the party will complete.

What Greg brings to the table
As a GM with over 1,000 hours of experience, I provide a balanced, "Lawful Neutral" approach: I am a fair arbiter of the rules who roots for your success while ensuring the world remains dangerous and immersive. What I Provide for Your Game: - True Agency: Your backstory isn't just flavor—it’s the engine. I weave your character’s goals directly into the mystery of the Shattered Obelisk and the threat of the dragon Cryovain. - Guaranteed Consistency: You are paying for a professional commitment. My games run weekly and on time, fostering a dedicated, mature group. - Professional Tools: I utilize a Roll20 Plus subscription and a D&D Beyond Master Tier account, giving you full access to nearly all 2014 core content and flawlessly integrated maps/tokens. - Immersive Atmosphere: I embody the NPCs you meet with dedicated character voices and utilize curated ambient music and battle tracks to bring the Sword Coast to life. - High-End Cartography: I combine official campaign maps with premium custom assets to ensure every battlefield is visually stunning and tactically engaging. - The "Rule of Cool" with Logic: Creative solutions are always encouraged, provided they remain grounded in the reality of the world (e.g., style won’t save you from a Dragon’s gullet!). - Streamlined Combat: To keep the game fast-paced and cinematic, I prioritize "Single-Summon" mechanics. We focus on hero-driven action rather than managing swarms of companions. - Patient Mentorship: I am always happy to teach new players the nuances of 5e, guiding you through the rules as we play.
Homebrew rules
Cinematic Healing: Use a potion on yourself as a Bonus Action (roll for health) or as a full Action (receive maximum healing). Tactical Consequences: Critical hits carry weight for both heroes and villains, utilizing a "Grit & Injury" system to make every major blow feel impactful. Stress Relief: Crying is always a free action—sometimes the Sword Coast is just that tough! I utilize a curated list of "Quality of Life" rules designed to keep the game fast, fair, and narratively rewarding. We will review the full "Table Rules" during our Free Session 0 to ensure the level of grit fits the group's playstyle.
