About me
44, Scot, he/him. I began playing RPGs and wargames in the mid 90s. I've run hundreds of games online, in person and at cons. I put in a lot of prep for games in Foundry: character art, music, maps, short films. If you've played Coriolis "Last Flight of the Ghazali" or Delta Green "Last Things Last" and "Impossible Landscapes", you may have seen my community maps in use. Player fun is the aim of the game: There's no railroading without discussion and players will be encouraged to add to the game world as we go.

Creating your character
There are 72 knights, which players will roll for before we start play. Each has a unique and compelling aspect, which makes it easy for players to add their own backstories as desired.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will have a free account on Foundry VTT where we'll do dice rolls, use character sheets and view maps, and join my Discord server where we'll play on a private channel. I will check everyone has an understanding of the basic combat rules (this is two pages) when we begin.
What Richard brings to the table
I will provide a bespoke map for your session, rolled up according to the Mythic Bastionland rulebook, crafted in Hexkit and fine-tuned in Photoshop. All materials to play in Foundry will also be provided. I will also provide a writeup of your session a few days after we wrap up. Bespoke chamber music will feature at points, but it won't be oppressive.

How Richard creates a safe table
We'll start with a free session 0 where we'll introduce characters and check everyone's a fit for the game. We'll use digital x cards and DMs will be open. There will be a comfort break halfway through but extras will be no problem.
