About the adventure
In a world teetering on the edge of chaos, The ever-growing darkness of villainy and destruction looms over all humanity. To aspire to greatness, these students must study in order to stand up to the challenge. Go on epic excursions throughout the universe while learning from some of the best heroes in the realm! You will be tested and graded on your performances while pitted against the most dangerous monsters in the manual! This game is designed to teach new players and younger generations to play D&D 5.5 Edition while putting a spin on how conventional D&D runs. You'll each play good character attempting to become a fully fledged hero and save the world, one person at a time!

As my name suggests, I was born to be a DM! Creating your character
Character creation will happen in session prior to you joining the game. The characters will be created in D&D beyond and we are sticking to the 5.5e core rules but we can be flexible if you have concept in mind. Let me know!

What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a webcam, headset and discord to play. We use physical battlemaps that are captured with gimbling cameras so help the battlefield come to life!
What Dan the DM Micallef brings to the table
I intend on using my full studio setup to bring real life; a battlemap with miniatures and terrain (I have over 20,000 that I have been collecting and hand painting), state of the art articulating cameras and green screens for backgrounds that I animate with video editing software! I use ambient music made I have had commissioned or royalty free music so if you wish to record and post the session on your social media platforms, you won't breach any copyright laws. I am a professional DM on Twitch so I also do a lot of character voices and have costumes to help make characters more personable and memorable. I have extensive random NPC generators, loot generators and other tools at my disposal that aid me in never being caught off guard! The rule of cool is a philosophy I embody whole heartedly, but always within reason so that the game is balanced. Challenges are ment to be overcome and we aim to do it in the coolest way possible!

How Dan the DM Micallef creates a safe table
Before you meet the rest of the group, we will have a one on one session. This will be a good opportunity for me to get to know you and see what you like and dislike in a game. We will take a break halfway through for 15 minutes but if someone wants to talk to me privately, they can ask to have a secret discussion with me and I will bring them to a private channel in discord to talk about it. Additionally, if they feel uncomfortable after the session, they can always discuss this with me then. D&D tackles a lot of tough subjects and sometimes you can never really know what is going to upset you until after it has been done. The best we can do is learn together and make changes as needed.
