About the adventure
You’ve got a job from an old friend: a dwarf named Gundren Rockseeker: take a wagon of supplies and his precious puzzle box to the frontier town of Phandalin. Sounds simple, right? Your experience with Gundren tells you this will be anything but. Your journey will take you out of civilization to a town on the edge of the wild. You'll uncover a secret that could rewrite history, make allies and enemies in equal measure, and face down a conspiracy that threatens to swallow the whole region in shadow. This is our story. It’s a tale of friendship, greed, and adventure. It’s about what happens when a simple favor pulls you into something much, much bigger. The wagon is hitched. The road east awaits. What do you do?

About me
Hello future adventurers! I'm a DM who believes the best campaigns are built on a foundation of heart, humor, and hijinks. If you love games where clever roleplay and witty banter are just as important as rolling a natural 20, you'll fit right in.

Creating your character
Characters will be built using the D&D 5e 2024 Players Handbook before session zero. I am available to help anyone who needs assistance during this stage. You can either use Standard Array or Point Buy when creating your stats.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need to join the Discord server, and have a Roll20.net account.
What Fea brings to the table
Immersive experience - I use music to set the tone as well as ambient noises where applicable. I sometimes use character voices to help give the NPCs distinctive personalities. Tailored content - I adjust game content to include character backstories, and focus on the aspects of the game that the party enjoys, be that combat, exploration, roleplaying, or a mix of all three. Inclusivity - I provide a safe, welcoming environment for my players so that they feel comfortable contributing to the game.
Homebrew rules
Typical homebrew rules I like to include are: - drinking your own health potion is a bonus action, administering one to someone else is an action - for critical hits, the first damage die does max damage and the second die is rolled for the damage result - flanking an enemy provides the attacker with a bonus to their attack roll Open to other homebrew rules the players would like to suggest - this can be discussed in session zero.

How Fea creates a safe table
I have a lines and veils survey that all players complete before session one. This is then complied into a google doc for reference. Any players can change their responses by messaging the DM. Prior to session zero, all players will complete a survey regarding their preferred game tone and preferences (it includes things like how character deaths are handled, missed sessions etc). I am always available via private message on Discord for a chat with any player who wants to talk about anything that happened during the game. I always have a 5 to 10min break during the session to allow people time to get a drink/go to the bathroom/decompress. Players can use the chat function in real time to indicate any discomfort using the x, n, and o method.
