About the adventure

Elysium burns. The Prince is MIA, assumed ash. The power structures holding Merseyside together have fractured. Rumours abound of a traitor among the Camarilla Vampires helping the Second Inquisition. As young vampires in the region, the players will be able to explore the chaos how they see fit. It doesnt matter which faction you come from; Camarilla or Anarch, what matters is what you do next. Can you rise in power, strike down rivals and feast to your hearts content, while protecting the people you love, avoiding losing your head, and retaining your Humanity? How much will you sacrifice along the way? Each of the 5 boroughs of Merseyside: Liverpool, Knowsley, Sefton, St Helens, and Wirral, are up for grabs. Stake (heh) your claim and defend your terratory. Forge alliances, double deal and backstab your way to the top, or honour your word and solidify your position.

About me

Trans Woman approaching 40 at the speed of time. TTRPGs have been a major part of my life for well over 25 years now and most of that time has been spent in the DMs chair. I'm a huge believer in collaborative world building and a world that feels alive. I'm in training to be a therapist, so safety at the table is something I prioritise. This is especially important with the horror themes I love including. I'm a lifelong horror fan, and the key is giving enough to let your imagination run wild, rather than going for shock value. As well as building and releasing tension. Theres a reason some of the best horror films have moments of humour scattered through out and I love building that sense of dread along side the comfort of the group to lean on.

Character creation

Creating your character

I will set some time aside to go through character creation with the players. Have an idea who your character was before they were Embraced, who they have been since then (characters will have been Embraced between 1-20 years ago) and who their Sire is. Just a few sentences on each will do for starters.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

For the game you will need a Discord account. Link to the group will be provided once youve signed up. We will b using Owlbear Rodeo as our VTT, its browser based and you dont need an account to access it. While character sheets will be provided and rules discussed at the time, players will need to source their own books/PDFs. Webcam us will be encouraged but not enforced.

What EldrichTea brings to the table

One on One mini sessions between games to give you full spotlight. 5-20 minutes for your character to indulge in what matters most to them. As a lifelong horror lover, I focus on disquieting dread, subtle wrongness, psychological terror and the feeling that something in the world is profoundly off. I prefer descriptions that leave room for your mind to fill in the blanks. Collaborative world building. In session 0 and beyond, we will flesh out the world we will be exploring so the focus is where you want it. Free Session 0

Safety

How EldrichTea creates a safe table

I am training to be a Therapist so I understand just how important communication is for safety. I always have open DMs for any issues that come up in games, whether your comfortable raising it in front of others or not. I keep a living consent form for my games that can be updated as we go without question. While this is a game about monsters doing monstrous things, that does not mean we must dwell on them. I like to have check ins and outs at the beginning and end of a game, a small space to air any feelings so everyone is on board and understand where each other is at. Some times life happens and your boundaries change going into a session.
