About the adventure
Is this your first time playing Dungeons & Dragons? Then this adventure and this Dungeon Master (DM) are perfect for you. You just arrived in the regional capital of Neverwinter after a long journey from Baldur's Gate. You got your first job - and immediately all hell breaks loose as two of your dearest friends get into trouble: Your new employer and his purse full of gold coins! Will you be the hero who will save your employer and rescue your dearest treasure: Your salary for the job? :) In this 2-hour session we will play the first adventure from the Dungeons & Dragons Starter Set: "The Lost Mine of Phandelver!". I love this setup, because it offers you a very easy way to learn the game mechanics *as you play*. Before I started to actually PLAY Dungeons & Dragons I felt completely overwhelmed. I wanted to play so badly - but I didn't know where to start - and all the guide books and online videos didn't provide what I really needed: A real person taking me step by step through the game. It's up to you now to rescue your employer, find the Lost Mines of Phandalin and their precious secret – and defeat the evil plans of a powerful enemy. Are you the hero that will bring a new age of prosperity to the good citizens of Phandalin? Ready to join me for this 2-hour adventure? :) Roll for initiative!

As a European writer and coach I have lived in seven different countries within Europe. Originally from Düsseldorf in Germany, I now live in Santander, Spain. What to expect
Preparing for the session
Internet Access, a free DndBeyond account and a Microphone will be required for play during the session time for game access and communications. You will also require a competent web browser (ideally Chrome), to access the game during the session.
