About the adventure
Free Session 0 Free Archetype variant rule Half price for the first full session The show must go on! Your adventuring party just defeated their Big Bad. Now, someone wants to make an opera about your exploits and they want you to help. Take on the role of producers of an opera about your life, but keep your eyes open. There's movement in the shadows, and storm clouds on the horizon... "You’ve fought ghosts and goblins, dragons and demons, and so much more in your storied careers as adventurers, yet now you face what may be your most daunting challenge yet—creating an opera based on your heroic legacy! Of course, there’s more afoot in the town of Kintargo than what’s coming soon on stage, and as the production swings into high gear, unexpected and dangerous complications are sure to make themselves known. Fear of performing on the stage will soon be the least of your worries!" This Adventure Path (AP) starts at 11th level, so the expectation is that you have already faced many trials and tribulations as adventurers before this campaign begins. We will work together during Session 0 and over the Discord to flesh out the details of your exploits, enemies, and entanglements. I'm looking forward to this part, it'll be like writing a group backstory. I will provide you with some guidelines, and then leave it to you as a group to come up with the general outline, and then we will all collaborate on the details. Slight spoiler: ************************** ************************** ************************** This AP also ties into the major Pathfinder event, the Godsrain. This event marks the beginning of a new era on Golarion, rife with fresh dangers and new opportunities. A new age of war is coming to Golarion, and you will witness the event that heralds this new era during this campaign.

Meet the Game Master
About me
Hello there, fellow nerds. My name is Dan and I am a life-long GM who would love to run a campaign for you. I have been GMing games since D&D 3rd edition, kept going through 3.5, then Pathfinder 1e, and now both Starfinder and Pathfinder 2e. I genuinely love nerding out about ttrpg mechanics, but the most important thing is story. Well, actually, story is the second most important thing. The number one most important thing is that my players are having fun. Fortunately, as far as I'm concerned, the three usually go hand in hand. Lately, I have been running Paizo's wonderful pre-written adventure paths, but with plenty of homebrew and customizing to my players' backstories, motivation, etc. I will work with you before the game starts to help you build your character as little or as much as you'd like, and will provide players guides which will allow you to make characters perfect for the plot (if you so choose) by going over some common themes, factions, regions, etc, that might show up during the campaign. Even if you don't tie your character into any of these prompts, I will still find a way to weave everyone's character arcs and the main plot together, so that we may tell a story all our own. Even though these adventures are pre-written, I allow room for creative problem solving at any point. If the book doesn't have the answers you need or didn't consider the path you choose to take, I will make it work through a combination of homebrew, improv, and experience. Over the years, I have taught many people how to play these (and similar) games, and absolutely welcome players entirely new to role-playing games. That said, you old grognards are welcome, too. Whatever your experience level, I can't wait to adventure with you!

Creating your character
We will be doing Free Archetypes, and you will be starting at level 11. I can help with character creation as much or as little as requested over discord before we start, and we will finalize things over Session 0. Paizo released a Player's Guide, and I will share a document that serves as a homebrew Player's Guide and covers all the little bonuses I will be giving you.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
All you need is a computer and a microphone! Don't worry about it if you are lacking in FoundryVTT experience, I can help you out every step of the way. We will use Foundry for keeping track of everything, and I will provide links to all necessary or useful rules, PDFs, character options, etc.
What Subterran Dan brings to the table
I have the fancy FoundryVTT module with all the bells and whistles, including things like ambient music and environmental sounds, lighting effects with functional walls and doors on the map, etc. We will be using the Free Archetype variant rule, with a couple extra minor homebrew bonuses (mainly involving Lore skills). I will go into more details about this on discord and during the free Session 0.

How Subterran Dan creates a safe table
I will make myself available on discord if any of my players have any concerns, but generally speaking I will always strive to ensure that everyone at the table feels welcome and we maintain healthy boundaries, without needing to be asked. The tone of the game will contain standard fantasy levels of horror and violence, but nothing particularly heinous or over the top.
