About the adventure
Based on an updated version of the classic module "Tomb of Horrors" that has been tuned for use with a modified Cairn system. Your kobold clan has been ousted during a civil war and has found a great place to settle - you think! You will begin the tomb with a cart full of supplies (including scrolls, etc.) and it will be up to your kobold wiles and your sheer moxie to figure out how to claim this place for your own. This is a chance to pit your many kobold selves against Gygax's classic module crafted for competition play.

About me
I love creating fun worlds for the characters to explore, working with players to understand their characters more. I try to create a space that is full of fun and adventure and mystery- and sometimes even healing. 5e has an incredible rule set that can be used to explore new worlds or ideas inspired by favorite stories and myths. I run games that are LGBTQ and BIPOC welcoming and inclusive.

Creating your character
The kobolds will all have the same stat block which will be distributed, and your kobold will be given evocative names like "Scale the Timid" or "Wing the Foolish" or "Tin the Brave." They'll be better names, obviously. All kobolds will have access to a very well stocked and magical cart packed to the gills with equipment specifically for kobold use and to ensure that some of the areas that require specific actions are solvable. Expect your kobolds to die. A lot. But that's part of the fun. If you prefer to generate your own little army of kobold names and titles, feel free! Make sure to send them to me first.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We will be using my Discord server for the game itself, and Owlbear Rodeo for the VTT. If you have any questions whatsoever, make sure to contact me! Prior playtesting has indicated this would be best played across two sessions.
What Somewhat Cyclops brings to the table
I will contact you once you have signed up to work through any questions that you have, and will add you to a Discord server. If there is a beginner who is brave enough to take this challenge, I can help you understand the fundamentals of the game and and answer any questions you may have over a text or voice voice chat. I'm here to help you experience a challenging, classic dungeon in a new, fun way - so making sure the adventure will work for you is a huge priority of mine!
Homebrew rules
Unlimited Kobolds - Upon death, your kobolds will be replaced with - you guessed it, another kobold. Since we're talking kobolds here, there may be the chance that your kobold will level up! Neat! Expect some fun advantages for that. There will be a cart full of adventuring gear especially fit for kobold use.
