About the adventure
A sweeping epic of intrigue, ancient power, and rising shadow in the Forgotten Realms Across the Sword Coast and beyond, something is shifting. Trade routes grow dangerous. Whispers of organized raids spread from town to town. Isolated incidents begin to reveal a pattern; one that points toward a coordinated force operating with unsettling purpose. Rumors speak of dragon sightings in unexpected places and strange alliances forming in the dark. Most dismiss the stories as exaggeration. Others are not so certain. Tyranny of Dragons is a high-fantasy campaign set in the Forgotten Realms that begins at ground level and steadily expands into a story of continental consequence. It invites characters from humble origins into a conflict that touches kings and councils, ancient wyrms and secret societies, faith and fate. What starts as localized danger grows into a struggle that tests alliances, convictions, and the limits of mortal resolve. If you are drawn to dragons as mythic titans, to the interplay of diplomacy and daring, to journeys that span landscapes and ideologies alike, Tyranny of Dragons offers a stage worthy of your character. Whether you seek glory, redemption, knowledge, or simply survival in a world tilting toward upheaval, there is a place for you in this unfolding saga.

Meet the Game Master
About me
Hi, I'm Jennylee, but you can call me Jelly. I’ve been playing tabletop RPGs for about 30 years, and for the last decade or so I’ve been running games as a Dungeon Master. I love collaborative storytelling, getting new players into the game, and keeping experienced players on their toes. In my spare time I make maps, create one-shots and campaigns, and adapt old stories to give them new life.

Creating your character
We can work together to create a level 1 character before the first session starts, or if you already have one you'd like to use, send it for review. D&D Beyond characters are welcome. Any D&D 5e (2014) books are in play.

What Jennylee brings to the table
My games embrace the Rule of Cool, and I love using customized encounter maps I've made as well as those produced for modules. I expect my players to try things I may not have prepared for and will always adjust on the fly. I try to find a balance between roleplay, combat, and individual character development for each player (if desired), and will check in on a regular basis to make sure all players are enjoying the game, and to address any concerns or questions they may have regarding the content, gameplay, and other players. Generally, I have a webcam on and like to see my players, but if they prefer to keep cam off that's fine too.

How Jennylee creates a safe table
I'll provide a document of rules for both the players and myself to follow, and have each player fill out a short document of their boundaries and preferences for gameplay, roleplay, and story themes. Session zero is a place to discuss characters, connections, and go over concepts like safety tools, aftercare, breaks, bleed, and more, for those unfamiliar with them.
