About the adventure
The village of Ashwood is never far from your thoughts after all it is the village that you and your fellow adventurers once called home. Ashwood village was a quiet peaceful village so it comes as a huge surprise when you receive a letter from the local innkeeper Talia begging you to return home as a great evil has invaded the village. What to expect: ● Combat heavy ● Roleplay heavy ● Horror This adventure will be run at level 4. It is presumed that the adventurers in this adventure know each other well as they all grew up in the same village. We will be using the 2024 5E ruleset.

Hi there my name is Nathan. I have lived in Australia all my life and am currently working at a swimming pool. No no I'm not a lifeguard or even a swim teacher, I am the guy that books in schools and sports companies for their swimming lessons and for sports such as water polo. So why am I here you may be asking? Well I've been running dnd games for the last 4 years and I absolutely love it. Creating your character
Character creation will be done on dndbeyond before the session. please also make sure to have an account for roll20 and have the beyond 20 extension installed. If you need any help with this please let me know! Character creation rules: Level 4 Standard array or point buy You can also start with a +1 weapon, +1 armour or +1 arcane focus of your choice. You can also select an uncommon item - subject to approval
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will require discord, roll20 account, dndbeyond and a headset. Players will need to create their character sheet before the game. Please don't hesitate to message me and I'll be happy to help!
What Nathan brings to the table
I will be using ambience music for scenes and combat music for combat sessions. I embrace both rules as written and rule of cool. We will follow the rules until you wanna try something interesting and different which is when I will say you can certainly try.
Homebrew rules
We will use the 2024 rules. The only rule that I will use 2014 for is the surprised rule if anyone has been surprised at the start of combat
