Set upon the brutal and unforgiving Kraken Sea, this adventure sends you aboard the Sapphire Moon in search of Thalassara, a legendary city swallowed by the ocean centuries ago. About me
I specialize in homebrew adventures set in rich, living worlds where story and consequence matter. My games blend cinematic storytelling with unique combat encounters, dynamic environments, and villains that feel truly iconic. Whether facing an exiled Archduke of the Nine Hells, hunting a kraken beneath the waves, or standing against an ancient force of the earth itself, my players step into stories designed to feel epic, dangerous, and unforgettable. I focus on: ⚔️ Challenging, tactical combat that rewards creativity 📖 Strong narrative arcs with meaningful choices 👑 Memorable villains with real presence and motive 🌍 Deep homebrew lore rooted in my original world, Alvaron: Land of the Godless My goal is simple: To create adventures that feel worthy of legend — where victory is earned, risks matter, and every session leaves you wanting the next.

Creating your character
Characters should be created before the session so we can begin the adventure immediately. This is a high-level, dangerous one-shot, and players are expected to arrive with a complete character sheet. Starting Level: Characters begin at Level 12 Ability Scores: Roll 4d6 and drop the lowest, six times Arrange the results as you like If your rolls are exceptionally low, we’ll adjust—this adventure is meant to be challenging, not punishing Allowed Sources: All official D&D 5E published material is allowed (PHB, Xanathar’s, Tasha’s, etc.) No homebrew classes or subclasses unless approved in advance If you’re unsure about a race, spell, or feature, ask—rule-of-cool is encouraged, but balance matters Starting Equipment & Magic Items: Standard starting equipment or starting gold (your choice) Each character begins with: 2 magic items total (each may be Rare or Uncommon) 1 Potion of Healing 1 Potion of Underwater Breathing Character Theme & Fit: This is a nautical, exploration-heavy, dark fantasy adventure Characters with motivations tied to discovery, lost civilizations, ancient secrets, or high-risk fortune-seeking fit especially well Aquatic traits, survival skills, mobility, and utility will shine—but nothing is mandatory Platform & Prep: Characters will be played digitally (Roll20 / Foundry / D&D Beyond—details provided before game day) Please submit your character sheet at least 24 hours before the session for review and final tweaks Come prepared with a hero bold enough to face the storm—once you sail into the Kraken Sea, the depths do not forgive hesitation.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
1. Create & Submit Your Character Build your Level 12 character using the character creation rules provided above. Your character sheet must be created in Roll20. This is required so your token can properly track vision, conditions, and stats during play. Please submit your Roll20 character at least 24 hours before the session so I can review it and help with any final tweaks. 2. Roll20 Account (Required) You’ll need a free Roll20 account to play. A game invite link will be sent once you’ve joined the session. Make sure you can access the game and move your token before we start. 3. D&D Beyond (Optional, with Extension) You may use D&D Beyond for character building with the Beyond20 browser extension if you prefer. Even if you use D&D Beyond, your final character sheet must exist in Roll20 so vision, auras, HP, and conditions work correctly for the party. Allies rely on visible stats for healing and assistance—this is non-negotiable. 4. Discord for Voice Discord will be used for voice chat and announcements. Please join the server using the invite link provided after booking and test your mic beforehand. 5. Be Ready to Play Log in 10–15 minutes early to ensure everything is working. Have your character finalized, your spells prepared, and your magic items ready to go. Once the session begins, the storm does not wait. Preparation ensures we spend our time exploring the depths—not troubleshooting them.
What Mada Zitro brings to the table
What I Provide as Your GM This game is built to be immersive, cinematic, and tightly paced. I provide custom Roll20 battle maps with dynamic lighting, fog of war, and vision, alongside a fully customized adventure designed specifically for this one-shot. We use Discord for voice, paired with homebrew ambient music and original songs to reinforce tension, mood, and major story moments. Sound and atmosphere are a core part of the experience, not just background noise. My GM style blends narrative immersion with tactical combat. I use character voices, vivid descriptions, and clear stakes. Combat is dangerous and strategic, but I strongly embrace the Rule of Cool—creative ideas and bold plays are encouraged and rewarded. Players can also expect unique, evolving rewards that change as the adventure unfolds. If you’re looking for a polished, high-energy session where the world reacts to your choices, this is that game. ALL games not private are streamed live on Twitch and recorded. For entertainment, reliving memories and posterity.
Homebrew rules
This game uses a small number of homebrew quality-of-life rules to keep pacing fast and action exciting: Drinking a potion is a bonus action (administering one to another creature is still an action). The Rule of Cool is in effect—if you can creatively explain an idea or are willing to take a risk to try something bold, I’ll work with you to make it happen. That said, we keep character options grounded and balanced: No homebrew classes or races All characters must use official D&D 5E material only We are using the 2014 D&D 5E ruleset, not the 2024 updates There are already countless amazing, well-balanced options in the official books—this keeps the game fair, smooth, and focused on the adventure rather than rule debates.

How Mada Zitro creates a safe table
Your comfort and enjoyment always come first. While this adventure is intense and atmospheric, I don’t expect to touch on many topics that would make players uncomfortable. That said, there are a few clear boundaries: No sexual violence of any kind, ever Mutual respect at the table is required, though jokes and lighthearted banter are more than welcome We’ll take a mid-session break, and any player is welcome to raise concerns publicly or privately—before, during, or after the game. You never need to justify why something feels off. If an issue comes up, we’ll pause, adjust, or move past it without disrupting the flow of the session. I also check in naturally during and after intense moments to make sure everyone is comfortable continuing. The goal is a table built on trust, communication, and shared fun, where players feel safe engaging fully with the adventure. The sea may be hostile—but the table is a place to enjoy the ride together.
