About the adventure
Build your crew, take on heists and rake in the reward! You start from the bottom, living in poverty. Things could always get worse. Especially if you do nothing. Where did you come from? How long have you endured What have the streets taught you? That's up to you, as you develop your scoundrel from one of the various "Playbooks". Plan together with your crew as you utilize advantages to gain an upper hand to bring the job to completion. But be aware, "sometimes even the best laid plans of mice & men go awry". Your reputation will be tested. Your actions will draw attention. Each success brings you closer to a life of luxury and glory. But there will be trials along the way. Nothing is trivial. Enemies act with purpose. Sessions will be geared toward player preference, lead by narratives in a dark and challenging world where every action has a consequence. Your choices - or lack there of - matter. Expect grit with heart. High stakes with moments of triumph. Tension that makes victory matter. Don't stop until you have achieved your ultimate goals, or die trying.

During my free time, you can often find me immersed in games like Civilization 6, Frostpunk, and Overwatch, or preparing for exhilarating Dungeons and Dragons campaigns as either a player or a game master. Beyond my love for the fantastical, I am also a devoted lover of animals. With extensive experience in raising pets and delving into their nature and behaviors, I have developed a profound understanding of our furry companions. Currently, I am the proud owner of two cats who regularly bless our family with adorable kittens before finding them suitable forever homes. Alongside my affinity for animals, I have a natural affinity for children as well. Being the eldest of five siblings and actively volunteering in various kids ministries, I have honed my patience and forged meaningful relationships with individuals of all ages. Creating your character
Character Creation takes place in Roll 20. Please come prepared with a picture of your concept character, and a brief description of your background. Your crew starts at tier 0, and crew type will be decided in session 0. For your Playbook, start with minimum experience granted as start. Links will be provided for your guidance.

Chat will take place over Discord. Video is optional, but must have a decent quality microphone. Roll20 link will be provided upon joining my Discord.
What Kiefer brings to the table
I am a professional actor, including but not limited to voice acting. I am well studies in story tools which I utilize for a more dynamic experience, where your choices are taken deeply into consideration. I follow more of a RAW GM style, though with occasional homebrew to enhance player experience. Music plays over Roll20. Full Roll20 Pro subscription; my compendium is shared, offering you access to all the same material I have purchased on the platform for the system. My Discord is more then a place to show up once a week for a game session - it is a community. Engage in social interaction as much or as little as you like, with memes, polls, and occasional event nights where I offer complimentary One Shots from various systems. Feel free to send me a message through Discord at any time, but please make sure to gain permission from other players before sending direct messages to them. I may not be available to respond instantly, but will respond as soon as possible. My table should be a safe, and fun experience for everyone involved.
Homebrew rules
Blades in the Dark has much open for interpretation. I do offer a "Court Room" in my Discord where rules and decisions may be challenged. To keep the flow of the game, I have the final verdict in the moment, and will re-visit any questioned rulings over the week. - I put this in Homebrew rules, because "Blades in the Dark" in particular has a lot that isn't fully fleshed out, or entirely clear.

How Kiefer creates a safe table
Please read the table rules posted in Discord. My table is a place where all walks of life are welcome. There is zero tolerance for any above table harassment including, but not limited to: Racial slurs, sexism, homophobia, religious bashing, ext. Respect and safety for one another is the top priority. This is a safe place where we are all here to have fun. Lines and Veils will be re-visited any time there is a new player. Absolutely no NSFW content, including in roll play. You may choose for your character to be involved in sexual interaction, but all scenes will be considered "fade to black". Sexual harassment in game from NPCs may be present. Human Trafficking in roll play may be present, but is not an option for players. Kidnapping another criminal for interrogation and torture is optional, however, selling of people is strictly forbidden to players.
