Previous reports indicated that the peoples of the world had been engaging constructively with Union Diplomatic efforts, with a particular emphasis on scientific aid. However, for unclear reasons the inhabitants of Pantheon have killed all human Union personnel on the planet, seized control of multiple advanced size 3 industrial printers, and according to distress calls made by the Local Union Admirative NHP, appear to have concluded the NHP to be a shackled god, deserving of worship. Indications are that deliberate attempts are being made to forcefully induce the NHP into a catastrophic cascade. Union Centcom, in collaboration with all parties with interests in the region, have decided that this represents an unacceptable risk to all human life, and that there is not sufficient time for a non violent de-escalation.
