About the adventure
This is an IN PERSON game in GLASGOW, SCOTLAND. Venue tbd. ~Blurb~ "The greed of mortals has awakened a powerful entity long thought destroyed. For eons, this mighty champion of the gods has been imprisoned in the darkest depths of Exandria. His name has been forgotten, as have his heroic deeds. Languishing in despair, he calls out for new heroes to save him. Inspired by the campaigns of the hit series Critical Role, this adventure begins in the Wastes of Xhorhas and leads to the glimmering oasis-city of Ank’Harel on the continent of Marquet, and from there into a sunken realm of gloom, corruption, and sorrow known as the Netherdeep. Above it all, the red moon of Ruidus watches, twisting the fates of those who have the power to shape the course of history." Surrounding this story is a deeper mystery - as an Apogee Solstice looms and the ceiling of magical potential rises to scarcely-before-seen heights, a network of nefarious cults seeks to undermine the peace of Exandria, drawing power from a host of malcontent demigods and threatening the supremacy of Prime Deity and Betrayer God alike. ~Locales~ - Call of the Netherdeep begins in the wastes of Xhorhas in Wildemount, and proceeds to the glittering city of Ank'Harel in Marquet. - Extension content can be found all over Exandria, with flexible content according to players' desires. - Environments include 'ancient temple of evil', 'bustling city', and 'deep sea nightmare caves'. ~Level Range~ - CotN runs from lvl 3-12. Optional starter chapter for lvl 1-3, and the extension adds a handful of levels on top (exact number driven by player choices). - Extension content can be interwoven with CotN content according to player choices. About me
Hi! I'm a writer and DM based in Glasgow, Scotland. I've been running TTRPGs since about 2013, and have 8 campaigns under my belt (most of them D&D 5e). I run games set in Critical Role's Exandria and in an original setting known as the Hazenbough Forest. I love creating new monsters and spells to challenge and intrigue my players, and I have a weakness for maps of fantasy worlds. I'm inspired by stories of esoteric mystery and reality-breaking secrets, and am currently writing an original D&D adventure that blends fantasy with elements of eldritch horror and metaphysical weirdness.

Creating your character
Session 0 will include time for character creation as a group. Characters will start at 3rd level, and players are welcome to come to session 0 with characters planned or already created, but session 0 will also include generating details to tie the characters and their backstories to the game world using the 'Heroic Chronicle' system from the Explorer's Guide to Wildemount. The blood hunter class may be available to players, pending a discussion of lines and veils in session 0.
