About me

Hi! I'm a writer and DM based in Glasgow, Scotland. I've been running TTRPGs since about 2013, and have 8 campaigns under my belt (most of them D&D 5e). I run games set in Exandria and in an original setting known as the Hazenbough Forest. I love creating new monsters and spells to challenge and intrigue my players, and I have a weakness for maps of fantasy worlds. I'm inspired by stories of esoteric mystery and reality-breaking secrets, and am currently writing an original D&D adventure that blends fantasy with elements of eldritch horror and metaphysical weirdness.

GM style

I love roleplay, particularly doing a variety of character voices. Specialties include 'creepy goblin-type', 'smarmy posh guy you probably want to punch', and 'eccentric old magic user'. Be prepared for various regional UK accents. I also greatly enjoy tactical combat where positioning and creative use of terrain can give you the edge you need to prevail. My personal preference is to use theatre of the mind for more 'incidental' combats and more detailed maps for significant and set-piece encounters. I find this blend helps to keep things fresh. I'm a big worldbuilding GM, so expect references to deities, locations, events etc to be sprinkled throughout any game run by me.
