About the adventure

You will be go from investigating within a fishing village in the Icewind Dale to exploring a Northern arctic wilderness. This game is good for introductory D&D players as well as veterans. This module was originally made for the Wildmount setting but it has been repurposed for Forgotten Realms. The game has some mature and at times frightening moments, but will overall have a PG-13 movie vibe. We're here to roll dice, fight bad guys and have fun. This is a mini campaign though there will be a possibility of expanding into a full Homebrew campaign.

About me

I am a fan of fantasy and sci-fi as well as a closet theatre kid. I got into TTRPGs a few years ago and more recently decided to try my hand at GMing. Since I am new, I am open to constructive feedback. I appreciate a balance of roleplay and exciting combat as well as a mixture of modules and homebrew. I use official rules as guidelines and expand or tweak as I feel necessary for the sake of narrative and/or overall fun.

Homebrew rules

-Healing Potions can be drunk or administered to another creature as a bonus action according to the 2024 rules, but choosing to do so as an action instead will guarantee max possible healing from the potion. -When landing a critical hit, rather than roll the damage die twice, we will instead roll like normal and add the max damage for the die -Heroic Inspiration can be used to reroll 1 d20 roll, 1 damage die roll, or force 1 enemy to reroll 1 saving throw that you inflict on them. -If a creature near you is subjected to a DEX saving throw - As a reaction, you can move up to half your movement speed to position yourself within between that creature and the source of the damage (and within 5ft of said creature) effectively shielding them with your body - this will ensure they pass their DEX save but also ensure that you fail your own. -Creativity is encouraged, but be sure to be mindful and respectful of the other people at the table. -Multi-classing is allowed (provided stat score minimums are met without the use of magic items)
